Food Forest NurseryReviews of foodforestnursery.com

Ordering from Food Forest Nursery was a great experience. I ordered apple trees, bush cherries, and a blueberry bush -- all arrived in good condition, packing was very well done, and I even got some last minute advice before planting. I highly recommend ordering from Food Forest Nursery!

The plants were extremely well packed and arrived looking vigorous and healthy. Also came with thorough care instructions. Had an issue with one plant and customer service was excellent. Will definitely be ordering from them again!

I've ordered from Derek at Food Forest Nursery three years in a row. The roots of the plants have always been really well developed on arrival and once I put them in the ground they're strong growers! I have berries, trees, and, gooseberries from Food Forest and I'm happy with all of them!

I ordered 24 raspberry plants, 15 blackberry plants, 12 blueberry bushes, 1 apricot tree, and 1 plum tree. Everything came packed with care, and nothing was damaged. Roots were well protected with moistened sawdust. I ordered a bunch of different varieties and each was organized so that I was easily able to keep them from getting mixed up with one another. I made a change to my order before it shipped and customer service was pleasant and easy to communicate with. I ordered fruit plants from other companies and the quality wasn't nearly as good. Food Forest Nursery will be my go-to for future orders. Thank you for helping me with my homesteading dreams :)

Blueberry bushes I ordered arrived in great shape and looked healthy. Better than ones I have gotten from Stark Bros and Burpee. Highly recommend.

I have been looking around for an Merlot redbud for a couple of years. The nurseries in my area mainly have the Forest pansy which gets taller than I wanted in the area where I was planning to plant it. So I started looking online. I read a lot of reviews on some of the bigger nurseries and then ran across a site called Dave’s Garden which evaluates online nurseries. Food Forest Nursery caught my eye and they had the tree variety I was looking for at an affordable price. So I took the plunge and ordered a couple redbud varieties. My trees came on time, right before the weekend, and were very well packed. Both the Ace of Hearts and Merlot redbuds were still dormant, and looked very healthy with well developed roots! I feel confident they will grow very well, and are guaranteed for one year. I will definitely recommend your company to my neighbors. Trees have become very expensive where I live and Food Forest a nursery gave me an affordable option to get some good quality trees planted in my yard.

Fantastic business!! I ordered 5 goji berry bushes and 5 service berry bushes. Everything came packed well and is very healthy. I WILL be ordering from this business again!! Extremely satisfied customer

I made my first purchase of four apple trees and three plum trees in the spring of 2025 and everything successfully grew except for one plum tree. I contacted them and Derek the owner refunded me for the price of the one plum tree right away. This coming spring of 2026 I plan on purchasing fig trees, blueberries raspberries blackberries and I reached out for assistance and a better understanding of fig trees for the zone that I am in and Derek graciously emailed multiple times back-and-forth to help assist me in furthering my understanding and knowledge. This type of communication and customer service is what draws me back to be purchasing more and more each year.
