Tucktec Folding KayaksReviews of foldupkayaks.com

This company customer service is top notch, the quality of these kayaks are unbelievable! Overall amazing team and kayaks.

My Tucktec kayak is one of the coolest things I own. I was almost skeptical before buying, but being a mechanical designer, I knew it had potential. I'm so glad I was right! It's so easy to transform from rolled-up burrito to a kayak, and back. I have my very own Transformer! ;) I'm 205# and sit in the water just as high as someone 180# in a hardshell kayak. It handles quite well, and is way more sturdy than expected; it's really tough. The best part of buying one was the customer service. We have a FB group and we interact together and with Tucktec on a daily basis. It's like buying one inducts you into a family, it's pretty cool. No product is perfect, and we've all dealt with crappy shipping issues with many companies, but they're on it with a quickness, helping as best they can. #TeamTucktec !

These are the BEST kayaks for older women. They can be carried easily with a shoulder strap & weight of 28 lbs. No kayak rack is needed. . . and it can roll up and be stored in a closet or under a bed. . . They fit in a Toyota Corolla trunk. Many women have to give up kayaking when a partner dies because we can't cartop a standard kayak anymore. . . and inflatables are prone to leaks and punctures. No problem with the Tucktec. These are well worth the affordable price!!!

Best company, amazing team, spectacular kayaks!!

An amazing product, designed by an AMERICAN company that puts customer service and quality at the forefront of their business!

I’ve been using a Tucktec for the past few years. The customer service are real people who care about their product and customers. The new 2023 is a big upgrade on an already awesome kayak. I’ve timed myself and can set it up in just over a minute and a half. Tracks great in the water and is super stable.

This is a great little recreational kayak for people who can't transport a "traditional" hardshell! I have access to an entry level inflatable, but I have gotten out on the water so much more since purchasing my first TT, it's so much easier to deal with! I now have a 2023 8' in addition to the 2021 10' model, and the new version is much easier to fold/unfold, and the seat is better (more supportive and easier to assemble). Also, the refurbishing program is great for those on a budget and for keeping lightly-used boats out of the landfill. Keep in mind these are for use in up to Class II water only...but they're perfect for calm water and docile rivers!

The best option as for personal kayak.Ease of handling.Ease of cleaning. Ease of storage. -Mike Tang
