eSIM was well priced and easy to install and activate however coverage in Sicily was poor. I often didn't have service, even in the center of cities. Sometimes deactivating the automatic network selection and manually selecting a different network helped but this required much fiddling and didn't always succeed. I acknowledge that the low coverage of the local Sicilian networks themselves were probably a significant factor however my travel partner who purchased an eSIM from another company had coverage where I didn't.

Ok. Went most of our trip with it not working, come to find out we needed roaming turned on in the esim settings. That was the root cause of our issue, customer service reached out quickly to resolve our issue.

The eSIM was extremely disappointing. In practice, it seemed to rely almost entirely on the A1 network, which had very poor coverage in many of the places I visited. For example, on Hvar I was often practically without usable mobile data, and for a significant part of the trip the eSIM was stuck on EDGE (2G). I also had repeated problems connecting to the network at all, which made the service even more frustrating to use. This was a huge contrast to competing eSIM providers I have used before, which offered coverage across the entire EU for practically the same price and with incomparably better coverage and reliability. I will not be using Flysimio again.

I travel outside the EU quite often, and roaming charges from my French provider can get pretty expensive, so I decided to try an eSIM. I used Flysimio for a trip abroad last month and it was super easy to set up. Got the QR code by email right after buying the package, scanned it, and it connected to 5G as soon as I landed. Used it for WhatsApp, maps, and browsing without any issues. Much cheaper than roaming with my usual provider. Definitely recommend it!

We were on a holiday in Sardinia, Italy. The eSIM had issues connecting to local networks. It was not a great experience when we landed I didn't have internet even though I configured my Samsung phone to use the eSIM for data connection. Eventually I connected by switching to manual network provider selection. Even then it disconnected from time to time and I would have to toggle the network providers hoping it successfully connects, which wasn't always a sure thing. It was annoying. On the other hand, when the eSIM was connected to the local network it worked ok.
