Stay Away From Them
All I can say is wow. Very unprofessional. I have over 25 years of experience in the ecommerce industry and I was looking for a tool with this functionality. I had just had a long discussion with their main competitor to get my questions answered then I moved on to Flowlister. I asked them initially what makes them better than their competitor and they said try us and you tell me. It was a serious question as im comparing the two and that was very unprofessional. I continued to ask more specific questions and over time I got some of the answers. Then I changed gears and asked them a few company based questions like how long they had been operating and what size was their team. I told them I have 25 years in the business and I asked if I could send my resume. I also offered invaluable information by letting them know I had an idea for a huge niche they were not markering to that could really benefit from their tools. I had the same discussion with their competitor and they were thrilled to hear my idea and said they hadn't even ever thought of my idea. They said they were not hiring but they welcomed my resume. Well, flowlister BLOCKED ME. They actually blocked me for offering them some free industry Insight and asking if I could send my resume. I AM A REAL CUSTOMER I even told them that and that I had to pick a platform that day. What kind of business is this that is so rude, and blocks a real customer for asking if I can send my resume. Id stay far away from this company. They are very unprofessional.

Hi Amy — thank you for sharing your experience. First, I was cautious in my early replies because the outreach felt unusual, and I wasn’t sure whether I was talking with a real prospective customer or someone fishing for competitive information. That’s why I stayed vague at first. Second, I blocked the conversation after looking at your Facebook profile. FlowLister is a Christian company with traditional Christian values. What I saw included the F-word, sexual content, astrology, and posts about religious practices that conflict with my faith. I personally don’t want to engage with that kind of content or lifestyle, and I don’t want it in my feed, so I blocked you. I’m sorry this left a bad taste. That decision was about those boundaries, not about dismissing you as a person. — Chris Taylor, founder of FlowLister
