Very disappointVery disappointing experience with FlameProxies.ing experience with…
UPDATE AFTER THE LATEST FLAMEPROXIES RESPONSE: FlameProxies is now focusing heavily on the fact that I edited my review. Yes, I edited it. I edited it because every time FlameProxies published new claims about me, I added clarification and additional facts to my review. Updating a review after a company responds does not mean the underlying experience suddenly changed. My main complaint is still the same: the way this situation was handled. FlameProxies continues to attribute this sentence to me: “Okay, give me the discount or I will leave a bad review. This is your choice.” I am stating again that I did not write that message. They say they have records. I am simply stating what I know from my side: I do not recognize that message as something I sent. They also repeatedly reduce the issue to me wanting to save $0.05/GB. That is not the reason this review is negative. The reason is what happened afterwards. From my experience, support became rude and dismissive. I lost access to the normal support function. My access to FlameProxies was then restricted. FlameProxies itself now confirms in its response that my account was restricted. On September 26, 2026 at 18:57:05 UTC, Cloudflare also showed me: “The owner of this website (flameproxies.com) has banned your IP address.” Ray ID: a4147e0908a059ef There is another point FlameProxies continues not to address clearly: I had money/credit remaining on my account balance when I was blocked. After losing access to the service, I also lost access to that remaining balance. So from my perspective, this is no longer simply a disagreement about a 10% coupon or $0.05/GB. I had funds remaining on the account and, after being restricted, I could no longer access or use them. That is a serious part of my complaint. I am also not claiming that the original proxy traffic I purchased was never delivered. The negative review is about how the dispute was handled afterwards, the support experience, the restriction of my account, the loss of access to my remaining balance, and the quote being publicly attributed to me that I maintain I did not write. People reading this can make their own judgment. I am documenting my experience and why I consider the way this situation was handled unacceptable.
Response from flameproxies.comSep 26, 2026
This review contains false claims and omits the central facts of the case. Please give full context when writing reviews. Please note that the customer has edited this review twice after we responded. We have kept records of each version and of our replies. The original review claimed we refused to give a 10% discount and that the customer had no orders with us. We explained that the customer did have an order: 5 GB of residential proxies at $0.50/GB, and the 10% first-order discount had already been used on that purchase. The customer then changed the review to say they were blocked from our website for no reason and that they did not send the message shown in our support-chat record. After we updated our reply to address those claims, the review was changed again. We will not keep editing our response every time the reason for the review changes. The full records show that the service was delivered and used, the discount was applied correctly, and the customer’s claims do not match the support conversation or order history. The customer purchased 5 GB from FlameProxies and used the code "LAUNCH10" on checkout. The customer used up all of their bandwidth and later on decided that they wanted to use the same first-order discount again on a new order. We explained that the code can only be used once. After we said no, the customer wrote: “Okay, give me the discount or I will leave a bad review. This is your choice.” This message was sent through the third-party support chat platform we use. We do not own or control that platform, and we cannot edit customer messages there. The only truthful text in the customer's review was that they were blocked from using FlameProxies again. We did not block the customer for leaving a negative review. Customers are free to leave honest reviews, even negative ones. The account was restricted because the customer threatened a bad review to get another discount. We cannot give extra discounts because someone threatens to leave a bad review. This is against our Terms of Service. The service was delivered, the proxy traffic was used, and the original discount was applied correctly. We can provide the full chat record to Trustpilot if they request it. The proxies are already among the cheapest on the market, priced at $0.50/GB. However the user believed that they were entitled to getting the proxies at $0.45/GB for all of their orders which is the reason for this negative review. They wanted to save $0.05/GB and we did not allow it since the proxies are already cheap as is. For transparency, the relevant chat transcript is available here: https://ibb.co/zWF0gkqG We are happy to assist customers with genuine product or account issues. In this case, the service was delivered and used successfully; the disagreement was solely about reusing a one-time discount on a second order. Best regards, FlameProxies Support Team
