This company is either lying to customers or a completely fraud and sham company. I’m still unsure which is true. I requested a same day TV mounting installation for a home in Virginia Beach. The company sent multiple emails requiring at 20% deposit in the first email after booking my service. No further information about my requested service was provided until an hour into my service window. The only information that was applicable information I received was that my technician was on the way to my house at 1 hour 35 minutes into my appointment time. No big deal. 10 minutes later I was informed via text message that the driver had and “emergency” and was unable to make it to the appointment time. Being a rational and empathetic person I assumed the worse and that the technician had a family emergency or was involved in a serious car accident. However, the FixTman company contacted me via text message 10 minutes later saying the technician was unable to find the right brackets to mount my TV so he wasn’t able to come. Absolutely conflicting information at the best. The company called me trying to justify and asking me for a window tomorrow in which I wasn’t able to fulfill because I am out of town. After many phone calls I was able to cancel the appointment. Thank god I didn’t input my credit info and pay ahead of time as they heavily implied I was to do. I would give 0/5 stars if able. Avoid at all costs. It would be more convient for you to destroy your own dry wall putting the TV up your self than to deal with this incompetence.

Hi, I’m back- with an update on my review. It’s been since 7/13 when we hired this company that finally came the 7/17-that nearly blew our house up due to incorrectly wiring and not converting our stove. This company has not only been refusing to give our money back for the job they didn’t complete- but to pay us back for the electrical damages done to our home. Their technician even urinated on our tree outside while my parents and children were in the pool. Extremely negligent and unprofessional. Seeking legal recourse. Our work order number is 142612.

I was given a date for the repair I needed, time, place, and name of repairman. Less than 30 minutes later, I was informed that my repair was canceled, as FixTman doesn't do such repairs.

Here is the longest promissory email, however, I had to call more than five times and waited for two hours. NO CALL NO SHOW, I had to leave work early so I can make the appointment. I hired FixTman to dismount and relocate an 85” Samsung TV. During the appointment, the technician they dispatched caused irreparable damage to the screen. He admitted fault in writing. I notified FixTman immediately. Despite controlling the scheduling, payment, and branding of the service, they claimed they weren’t liable because the technician was an “independent contractor.” Under California law—including the Dynamex decision and AB5—this defense is invalid when the company exerts control over the service. FixTman also advertises a 30-day warranty, which they initially ignored. Only after escalating the matter did they offer a replacement—on the condition that I delete my negative reviews. I was pressured into removing them from Google, Yelp, and the BBB. In California, demanding removal of reviews in exchange for service violates Civil Code § 1670.8. When the replacement arrived, it was not packaged in a sealed box, had no remote, no manual, and appeared used. I recorded the entire delivery. Since then, I’ve repeatedly asked for a receipt or order information to confirm it was a new, equivalent model. They’ve gone silent and refused to provide it. This company uses coercive, deceptive tactics to silence legitimate complaints while avoiding legal and financial responsibility. Their resolution was inadequate and likely a cover to avoid a formal paper trail.

I booked my grill assembly request online. I checked $50 for the grill to be moved. The 1-888# for FixTMan texted me the following: “We can move for $50 as long as you or someone can help. Please let me know if someone will assist in moving otherwise we will need to send second tech for $50 additional.” What’s the purpose/obvious fraud to pay $50, but have to help move the grill from my garage to my deck? Fraud up front. I cancelled my appointment and alerted the 1-888# that I would write this review. It responded via text “Okay, let us know if you change your mind.”

Hired them to build a Springfree Jumbo Oval trampoline. This is admittedly difficult. Without going into a huge amount of detail, they ignored the directions and skipped attaching the net to the springs first, and then rather than redo their work, they attached it with a rope, which resulted in a slanted and poorly secured net. I had a fixed time this needed to be ready by, and they offered to have the same tech come back out and fix it, which I did not want. I'm unsure if the tech would have been available in time. I did not want to pay due to having to basically undo and redo the hardest part of the build and they threatened me with collections. I do not recommend this company.

The tech improperly assembled my Marcy home on a Friday June 27th. I did not realize it until I tried to use it. Spoke with FixTman the same day. Was scheduled for another tech on Saturday June 28th who was a no-show. Have had 20 conversations with customer service and they promised a tech for Monday. Spoke with the again and you get a total run-around. On top of the above upon closer inspection the tech damaged the gym. Do NOT USE THEM.
