FiveableReviews of fiveable.me

cost money for everything and the actual review and practice questions aren't helpful

Some useful material, but the website organization is awful, especially for the price. The website crashes constantly to the point it is unusable. It's slow, difficult to stay logged in, and hard to navigate where you want. I do not have these issues on any other site--I paid for 2 years, only used it about a dozen times, and these problems only got worse as time progressed. Most useful things are the practice questions and the review guides, but you can often find those elsewhere for free. I paid $40 and canceled, and now they're charging $18 a month??!!? Don't waste your money on this. YouTube, Quizlet, and tutoring are much better than Fiveable for AP resources.

this website actually is terrible i just want to study for apes and it KEEPS locking everything behind a paywall i don’t want to pay $18 for something ill use once

Somewhat helpful at certain situations, but majority of the time it's not the best place to learn something. The practice question sets are very confusing, so is their study guide. First, the study guide will introduce you so many random vocabularies without a concise and clear explanation or example. Second, the practice question sets. The questions give are completely irrelevant to the corresponding unit. Perhaps the questions weren't made by Fiveable itself, but at least explain more precise about the answers. Their explanations are like telling you to left but also right at the same time, which many of the time is very discouraging. The only solution to this problem is to learn and reinforce from other sources such as Khan Academy. And if that's the only solution, why bother using Fiveable in the first place?

Garbage. Don't waste your kids time with this crap.
