Hi Martin, we recently claimed our Trustpilot profile and are now reviewing earlier feedback that did not receive a response. We recognize that this reply is overdue. We’re sorry the service did not provide the value you expected and that the renewal caused frustration. Our subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled beforehand, and this is disclosed during checkout, in the confirmation email, and in the member’s account area. However, we understand that the charge was not what you expected. Our records show that it was refunded the following day. We take fraudulent profiles and scammers seriously, and since this review was posted, we have implemented new anti-spam and fraud-detection technology to identify and remove suspicious profiles more quickly. We understand how frustrating it can be when there aren’t enough compatible members nearby. Fitness Singles is a niche dating community, so the number of available matches can vary considerably by location, age range, and preferences. We may show members outside your immediate area when there are fewer compatible members nearby rather than limiting your results to a very small number of profiles. Regarding fake profiles, we take this issue seriously. We’ve recently implemented new anti-spam and fraud-detection technology that helps us identify and remove suspicious profiles much more quickly. We appreciate the feedback and continue working to improve both the quality and availability of matches for our members.

Like other dating services, we do encounter scammers attempting to join, and we’ve recently implemented new anti-spam and fraud-detection technology that helps us identify and remove suspicious profiles much more quickly. We also strive to be transparent about billing. Subscription renewal terms are disclosed at checkout, again in the confirmation email, and in the member’s account. Members can turn off automatic renewal directly from their account. We also review refund requests based on the circumstances. We’re concerned that you were unable to reach Customer Support. We understand why receiving several expressions of interest and then not receiving replies after subscribing would be disappointing. However, a member may not respond for many reasons — they may no longer be actively using the site, may have started communicating with someone else, or may simply decide not to continue a conversation. Unfortunately, no dating service can guarantee that another member will respond. What we can assure you is that Fitness Singles does not create fake expressions of interest or messages to encourage members to purchase a subscription. Likes and messages are generated by members of the site.
