Fit Bodies IncFit Bodies, Inc. is a fitness, wellness, and luxury-travel company founded in 1992. Its core business is the Teaching Vacation model: qualified fitness and wellness professionals travel to participating resorts, teach fitness/wellness programming during part of their stay, and receive heavily discounted or accommodation-exchange resort stays. The company also provides resorts with rotating fitness, yoga, sports, mindfulness, and wellness professionals and programming. The company publicly promotes 30+ years in business, 120+ resort partners, 50,000+ members, and more than 100,000 completed trips. Its website says professionals can teach at luxury all-inclusive properties around the world, while resorts use Fit Bodies to expand wellness programming without building all of those specialties internally. The biggest new newsOn September 1, 2026, Fit Bodies issued a major PR Newswire announcement saying it has expanded its collaboration with Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection across seven resort brands:Dreams Resorts & Spas, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas, Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Impression by Secrets, Sunscape Resorts & Spas, and Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts. The announcement says Fit Bodies is providing fitness programming, sports instruction, mindfulness experiences, specialty events, and destination-inspired wellness activities at Hyatt Inclusive Collection properties throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. And this is important: the story is already beginning to get picked up outside PR Newswire. Today, September 2, Hospitality Tech News published “Fit Bodies Lands Hyatt Inclusive Collection Across 7 Resort Brands,” highlighting Fit Bodies’ Hyatt expansion, 50,000+ professional network, 100,000+ placements/trips, and international growth plans. Another hospitality publication also published coverage today about Fit Bodies bringing wellness programming to seven Hyatt resort brands.

Working for FitBodies is an amazing opportunity for fitness instructors. The staff are professional and helpful from booking through point of contact during the vacation. This is a great way to share your passion with the world and I highly recommend to every instructor.

I am not one to often leave reviews. It takes either a very good, or a very bad experience somewhere, for me to take the time to leave a review. This, this company and the experience, deserve my time. So here it is 😊 If I could leave 6 stars, I would. I have tried I don’t even know how many “similar” companies and programs to this, and can personally say, this in my experience and opinion is BY. FAR. , the best of the best. It’s not just one of those very generic wellness. Health. Yoga. Etc, programs, this is a complete hands on, FULL experience. l don’t think it’s possible to find anything like it , that has the locations and options they have. Booking is easy. Communication is not only great, but the fact it even exists, when so many others don’t even have anything but an ai chat bot to talk to, and the programs themselves are top top top notch. Truly, I mean it when I say if I could give it 6 stars instead of 5 , I would.

I booked a trip that showed it included my family (2 adults and 2 children up to 16 years old). I made sure to book a trip that included my son. Unfortunately, after booking the trip, I received a bill for $1,500 to bring my son along. When I compare the cost of this trip to booking on Expedia, I would be paying the same price to take my family without working. I sent images of the misleading information and they refused to refund me my money. When comparing trip costs to Expedia, you will notice often the trip is similar to the Expedia costs. Be careful booking trips there because you could end up working for free and there is a zero refund policy, even if the trip information is inaccurate.

Dear Trustpilot Team, We request a formal investigation into several one-star reviews of Fit Bodies, Inc. We have concerns that these reviews may involve competitors or former employees, rather than genuine customer experiences. We ask that you investigate these concerns rather than treat our suspicions as established facts. Fit Bodies has operated for more than 30 years, building long-standing relationships with fitness professionals and resort partners worldwide. We take customer concerns seriously and work to resolve problems fairly under our published terms and conditions. Please ask the reviewers to provide information sufficient to substantiate their experiences, such as booking references, dates, and relevant correspondence. We welcome the opportunity to compare those details with our records and respond directly to specific allegations. We recognize that a negative review alone does not make it invalid, and that our terms and conditions do not prevent customers from sharing genuine feedback. Our concern is whether these particular reviews accurately describe real experiences and disclose any relevant conflicts of interest. If your investigation establishes that a review is fabricated, involves an undisclosed conflict of interest, or otherwise violates your guidelines, we request its removal. Please let us know what supporting documentation you need from us to complete your assessment. Sincerely, Fit Bodies, Inc.

So my wife, Tanya, who has been a yoga instructor for Fit Bodies for several years, books a trip to Secrets Montego Bay, through the Fit Bodies web portal, for March 7-14, 2027 - over a year away. The trip was booked on Feb 22, 2026, and we were charged $1500, which was immediately collected from our credit card. We are then told in early May 2026 that, due to the hurricane in Oct 2025, the resort will not open in time and the trip is cancelled. A normal business in the travel industry that books something for a customer and then cancels, would either refund the money or help book a different resort/week. Particularly in this case where they knew the resort was currently closed due to the storm with significant damage. But instead, Fit Bodies just keeps the money. Regardless of any contract, that does not seem like a fair, honest, ethical, moral, or legal approach to business. That seems like obtaining funds under false pretenses (also called fraud). The drumbeat we keep getting told of "you are supposed to get trip insurance" doesn't really apply because this is far prior to booking airline tickets and any other trip expenses - and you cannot adequately estimate for trip insurance without all of those items. And what is the justification for keeping the money? There is presumably no outlay in funds at that point by anyone. The right thing to do is to treat your instructors with some respect and return the money to them. Keeping the money seems more like stealing in this case.

This is not accurate information. Any professional whose trip is affected by a natural disaster or a hotel cancellation is given the option to move their trip to another participating resort, in accordance with our published policies. Fit Bodies has served tens of thousands of traveling fitness professionals, many of whom return year after year because they value the company, the resort partners, and the experience we provide. We encourage anyone considering our program to review the experiences of the professionals who travel with us regularly. In this case, the guest was offered the option to move to another teaching vacation after the original trip was affected. Instead, they are seeking a refund of approximately $1,500 through a credit card dispute, despite the policy being clearly disclosed at the time of booking. The policy explains that when a natural disaster or resort cancellation affects a reservation, Fit Bodies will work to relocate the professional to another available resort rather than automatically issue a cash refund. We take legitimate concerns seriously, but this review does not fairly represent the options that were provided or the terms that were agreed to when the trip was booked. Follow this same profile name and you can see the Trent of 1 star reviews when they don’t follow directions and wants refunds they choose to discredit and attempt to ruin a 30+ year on companies reputation.

I’m very disappointed to say that my experience with Fit Bodies has gone downhill over time. While I had some great experiences in the beginning, the company has become increasingly unreliable, inflexible, and difficult to work with. Prices have increased dramatically, and it now feels much more focused on profit than on offering a meaningful or enjoyable teaching vacation experience. Communication is poor, policies feel inconsistent, and there is little to no support when issues arise. When I reached out with concerns, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. Sadly, I will be canceling my membership once my current travel is complete. Based on my recent experiences, I would not recommend this company. fitbodiesinc.com
