Totally unresponsive! This company is a joke. It's as though it's being managed by 10 - 12 rear old kids.
Calling for anything takes 5 to 10 minutes and many, many rings for them to answer the phone. They use unreputable contractors and don't even respond when they are notified of dishonest business practices. Paying the3m in advance might as well be a charitable donation, because the customer receives NOTHING in return. *************Stay away!

First Premier has burned bridges with all techs in the area
I have been waiting for a valid tech to be assigned our claim (refrigerator is no longer cooling). It has been 4 weeks now. They keep sending back referral after bad referral stating my claim has been 'assigned'. The first two companies said they no longer do business with First Premier. The other two just never responded. This is the first year using First Premier.

So far not so good
So far not so good. I just joined & was the told that i had to wait 30 days to make any kind of claim.
Response from First Premier Home WarrantyFeb 12, 2026
This waiting period is actually a standard practice across most home warranty providers. It’s designed to help protect both customers and the company by preventing coverage from being used for pre-existing issues or systems that were already malfunctioning before enrollment. By having this short waiting period, it helps reduce warranty fraud and keeps overall plan costs more affordable for everyone.

Reply to FPHW reply for my 1 star review
This is a reply back to the reply received from First Premier Home Warranty for my review......Thank You for your response....I wrote the review on pure facts....as I told you, your team especially"Todd P" .... Everything I wrote....was repeats of hundreds of 1 star reviews on "YOUR" website....which was my documentation backup. Just Google Reviews for FPHW...after 8 months of requests, we wrote the GA Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner and FINALLY got the check you withheld since May 27, 2026.....Expect the worst from this company.....get a real Home Warranty, not a scam....To All that is fed up with this company....here's a tip.....write letters to BBB, Consumers Affairs, Attorney General AND Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner....YOU will get results

The very worst company
The very worst company. Disrespectful, Unprofessional on the phone. Stated my Hot water heater was cover but not it is not. Will only cover heating element. I want my purchase price returned. I have put in 2 claims with no resolve. Is this company a SCAM??
Response from First Premier Home WarrantyJan 30, 2026
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this situation must be. That is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide.
Regarding water heater coverage, our plans do outline specific components that are covered, and in some cases coverage may be limited to certain parts depending on the plan selected and the cause of failure. That said, we take concerns about communication and claim handling very seriously, and it’s disappointing to hear that you feel this was not clearly explained or properly resolved.
We would like the opportunity to review your claims in detail and see how we can help bring this to a fair resolution. Please contact our customer advocacy team directly with your policy number so we can escalate this matter and address your concerns appropriately.
Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

My hot water heater went out 10 days…
My hot water heater went out 10 days ago they finally sent someone yesterday stating that the hot water heater was bad. They sent another company to say the same thing! Today they declined to pay a dime! I had to pay $60 each visit! I paid extra to cover the hot water heater for them to say we only cover the elements! I have warranty on mine and my son’s home over $1,700a year. If you Vance it is $75 each home! I was told they needed to renew and I said until I find out what they do I see what they cover. Soon as I got off the phone they charged me and my payment wasn’t due until the 19th and this was on the 1st! And they declined the hot water!
Response from First Premier Home WarrantyJan 30, 2026
We’re truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you’ve experienced, especially with being without hot water for an extended period of time. We understand how disruptive that can be.
We regret that multiple service visits were required and that you incurred service call fees without a resolution you were expecting. Coverage for water heaters can vary by plan and is typically limited to specific components, such as heating elements, rather than full unit replacement. That said, we understand your concern if this was not clearly explained at the time of enrollment or when you upgraded your coverage.
We’re also concerned to hear about the billing issue you mentioned. Any renewal or charge should only occur in accordance with the policy terms and billing schedule, and we would like to review this immediately to ensure everything was handled correctly.
We value your business, especially as a customer with multiple policies, and we would appreciate the opportunity to review your claims, service fees, and billing concerns in detail. Please contact our customer advocacy team directly with your policy number so we can escalate this matter and work toward a fair resolution.
