We run a fencing business and have used First Fence 3 times for security fencing projects in the hope they would get better - they did not. They messed something up on every single order, either the order was missing items, came damaged or in the most recent instance - the tab on the gate post was welded in the wrong place and they sent the wrong size posts for the panels. On every occasion First Fence has made a fool of us as a company, their customer services is an absolute joke. We were told we would receive a replacement gate post on Friday at the latest, it has now been a week and despite calling 8 times for an update, we just get told that nobody is available and somebody will call you back (they never call you unless they want money from you). This company is cheap, but the quality of the products reflect this. Poorly manufactured and an absolute embarrassment. I honestly don't understand how they can run a business. If I could give 0 stars I would - stay away from this company. We will never be ordering from them again.

Unreliable company place ur order and pay for your materials and delivery as per site and general sale rules and your order may arrive or half of it may arrive or may not arrive at all, Try to contact them for resolution and invariably you will get no response.

We placed an order with First Fence and paid the invoice, however when we confirmed the delivery address which i already made them aware of when ordering they tried claiming they did not know it was too the isle of wight as it was going to cost several hundred pounds extra. I had it confirmed with me my a member of the sales team that delivery to the Island was included but then received a rude email saying if we do not pay for the extra delivery charge we wont get the products we paid for. Due to this we cancelled our order, because they forgot to include delivery to the isle of wight in the invoice despite being told it was being delivered her at least twice. Upon cancellation they are now trying to charge us 20% of our invoice total to restock the materials, however this was a mistake made by them not us. We are still in dispute but have placed an order with F H Brundle who has better customer service and are delivering to us for free tomorrow.

Product was ordered and came within a week and gates were fine. Problem was that some parts were missing from the bag of fixings. Spoke to company and was told that the parts would be posted out - a week later and they still haven't arrived and I'm not holding my breath. They've had the money so what's in it for them? Products are fine but the aftersales service is poor which is a shame because when parts are missing you need that service and it's sadly not there.

Terrible company. Lie after lie on delivery date. Thousands spent on fencing that arrived wrong handed, incomplete, parts missing, bolts short, poor quality. An endless list of incompetence. Customer service completely unhelpful.

Absolutely horrendous company and bunch of unprofessional unqualified installation team, how can put up a fence wrong way flippin round, absolutely diabolical, the posts are facing the inside and are clearly a massive danger, and they have not put any concrete into the ground for the posts, absolutely disgusting took 3500 for installation, representing British craftsmanship absolutely disgusting p

WOSRT COMPANY I`VE EVER DEALT WITH IN 12 YEARS OF BUSINESS!!!! The company was poor from the start, giving delivery dates and then cancelling on three occasions, then on the date it was due to arrive on site nothing turned up! This is when the Many! many!! many!!! phone call started! I call to find out where the delivery was only to be told they had no notice of my delivery. Once they had traced the delivery it was going to be another weeks!!! to be delivered to site. I had Tarmac company, ground workers and electricans (gate entry system) on site to start with no materials!! This work was a school project had to be done within the school holidays (while school was closed!). After multiple calls and the product finally arriving it turned up Damaged! Runs of spray paint (Same & different colours) and bubbled rust on every single post!! Agency driver wasn't bothered so had to once again call up and email photos of the poor quality to First Fence. I was told it was "out sourced sprayers" but no checks had been done prior to the delivery. I now had a school with no fence by a main road and the end of the school holidays!! First Fence couldn't careless attitude was soo bad!! I spoke with so many different people and even spoke with the director who said he will find out what`s happened and call me back (NO calls back from him ever received) It took another 8 days before i got the materials on site and I had to install temp fencing to keep 300 children away from a main road!! I can not stress enough just how bad this company was to deal with!!

Truly shocking customer experience in every possible way. Actually thats not true, they are excellent at quoting and taking your money. Its freefall from there on in. Shockingly bad communication, woefully late in delivery (I am in serious trouble in the job I used First Fence for) and the quality of the finish beggars belief it is so bad in certain items. I would whole heartedly advise people to steer well away from this company. Pay a little more and be happy!
