Two weeks in with no prescription, no customer service
I'm two weeks in with Sunrise and have had an extremely disappopinting experience that I intend to widely share. I work in healthcare and have case management experience so I know how these things are supposed to go. I was prescribed Wegovy and a prior auth was submitted to my insurance. It was denied due to "isufficient information" which means that the quality of prior auth submitted by Sunrise was insufficient. There's no reason a Prior auth should be denied for this reason. Since then I've been told that prior auths are in progress that actually are not (I've confirmed with my insurance company). Customer service is only accessible via email and sends extremely generic responses no more than every 24 hours so it's impossible to get any sort of consultative advice/resolution. It seems to me they are running down the clock on my $9 first month so that I get to month 2 and have to pay full price. They also recommend their own "compounded" medications which are $199/month (in addition to the monthly service fee). Do not recommend this company at all.
