This foundation covers well, but is so thick and obvious in person. In the photographs posted, you can’t tell because—they are photographs!

Hi Lynne, We're so sorry you didn't love the concealer in person! Sometimes a thick appearance can happen because of a colour match issue, or a problem with application. If you warm the concealer up before use, in your fingers (or by putting the tube in a glass of warm water for a few minutes), it can spread more easily. If I'm going for lighter coverage, I'll also use a damp beauty sponge. This make up was just not for me. I don’t think there is any product that can fully cover my age spots (not Fieras fault - mine for being a sun worshipper). I also had to mix 2 colors to get the right shade and I didn’t like the feeling of having what I thought was a thick coating of make up on. I will say the make up covered some flaws and looked nice on me - I would probably still use it if I liked the way it felt on my skin.

The Fiera Concealer product was so thick and dried out, like a heavy paste, which made it un-usable! I tried diluting with water and using a damp sponge, which did not improve the problem. The range of color(s) offered were not very compatible with my skin tone, so I bought 2 shades and tried mixing but it was not ideal. I don't know if this product sat on a storage shelf in a hot warehouse for too long or what, but the consistency & viscosity were less than ideal for a concealer product, especially at their price point of $30+ USD per tube! I appreciate they cared enough to refund my money right away. I do not think their concealer product is very well-suited for dry or aging skin. But they did provide a quick Customer Service resolution. If they ever improve their formula, I might consider trying it again. Especially if they started offering smaller, free (or low-cost) sample shades. I would pay the shipping cost to be able to "try before I buy". Until then, I must say Buyer Beware.

It's specifically formulated to be thick and creamy and definitely takes some warming for some people, including me, to work beautifully. I often pop the tube in a glass of warm water while I do the rest of my morning routine and then it's soft and creamy and blendable when I get to my concealer. I’ve been using this neck cream every night since I bought it and I can honestly say, there’s no difference in my neck- I didn’t expect miracles but I did expect at least some subtle difference. I may have to ask for a refund.
