Wheels arrived four days after ordering. The wheels were in perfect condition. Bike bag was a really nice touch at this price. Tape and valves were a not as good as DT Swiss but they got the job done. Flawless tubeless setup. Wheel performance was a bit of a surprise. They don’t ride like a budget wheel. Felt faster than my Zipp 302s and were just as comfortable. On par with my Altos for perceived speed and considerably more comfortable. They were more than twice the price of the Tyros. First ride was 57 miles with an 11 mile per hour wind. The route gave me wind at all angles. The wheels performed very well. I slight push here and there but nothing that pushed me off my line. No noticeable flex. I am right at the FFWD recommended weight limit. Really liked the in house FFWD 36t hub. Could have labeled it DT Swiss and I wouldn’t have known the difference. Slightly higher weight went unnoticed on the flat route. Great wheelset. I am very pleased with the purchase and would\will buy them again.

They kept me in the loop regarding the expected delivery date of a set of back ordered wheels so I was never in the dark. I had requested they install the rim tape which they did without hesitation. The F9s are faster under certain circumstances than my Roval CLX 64s and are easy to control even in winds up to 12 mph. If I didn't already have shallower wheels from Roval, I'd without hesitation purchase from FFWD again.

Outstanding customer service, Jay was very patient and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly before I purchased the wheels. He and Jon continued to answer my questions after the purchase. Jon was especially helpful while I tried to figure out a creak that developed on steep climbs. Seems it was coming from the skewer as replacing the skewer has quieted the noise. Overall it was a painless purchase and I have confidence that these guys will stand by the product and take care of me should I have any issues down the road.
