Fem Excel is a provider-led medical program, and consultations are conducted by licensed medical professionals, including nurse practitioners who are trained in hormone therapy and work within physician-supervised clinical protocols. Many patients begin care with these providers as part of their ongoing treatment plan. We’re also sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the applicator and dosing. Medication delivery devices are provided through our pharmacy partners, but if a patient is having difficulty with administration or feels they are not receiving the correct dose, our providers can review the technique, dosage, or discuss alternative options to ensure treatment is working as intended. Medications are never shipped or processed without patient confirmation, and we certainly never want anyone to feel surprised by a charge. If a medication was discussed during your consultation, it would only have been a proposed starting plan based on your symptoms, history, and provider assessment, not something compounded or shipped before labs are reviewed. Your lab results are used to further refine and optimize dosing, and adjustments are made as soon as results are back. That’s absolutely not how we want anyone to feel when taking this step. To clarify our pricing, the $29 fee covers your first month of membership, which includes your initial and follow-up consultations, as well as your at-home hormone test. Any additional charges at this stage would only be for medication, and nothing is ever billed without your consent and confirmation. I completely understand why this caused worry, especially while managing a tight budget, and we’d really like to review your account so we can reassure you and make sure everything is correct.
