I do not believe that the positive reviews are reflective of the company in its current state. I emailed, called (nobody would answer anytime during the day), and left voice messages multiple times and did not receive any follow-up from anyone in the company. This is highly unprofessional and indicates that the company is either not functional or has shifted its operations underground. Do not waste your time/hope on this business. They do not work.

Helpful service that shouldn't exist
My wife and I used Favisbook after weeks of trying to book an appointment directly with the Italian Consulate. We tried to book an appointment 2 months in advance of our travel dates but everything was booked 3 months out. The consulate encouraged us to "keep checking the schedule every day at 3:00 as cancellations sometimes happen" but after a couple of weeks of checking every day the appointments only got further and further out. They said our only other option was to wait until we were 2 weeks out and then try to book an "emergency appointment". We decided (against the consulates own advice per their website) to try the booking service favisbook.com. We immediately were given an appointment less than a week later when the consulate themselves said they were already booked. Wow, this should be a glowing review of favisbook, right? No...
Something fishy is going on here. Consulate appointments are free but booked months in advance. Favisbook somehow has unlimited access to them. You can figure out the rest yourself.
Favisbook has been reporting my review since I posted it and I have had to show proof of purchase (which I did happily) and have had to "re-word" this review several times to keep it from being pulled completely.
Copy/Paste directly from the Italian Consulate website here:
We would recommend all users to refrain from accepting any offer made by websites, agencies or other individuals (i.e. FAVISBOOK) claiming to be able to book an early appointment on your behalf, provided that you pay a fee.
The Consulate General wishes to stress that there is no connection at all between the Consulate itself and such websites, agencies or individuals (i.e.FAVISBOOK) and reserves its right to refuse the application and take action where appropriate.

As the reviewer mentioned, we reported this review for defamatory language. Now reviewer edited the review, and we would like to answer.
We assume from your review, you didn't have any problems getting your visa, your only complain is our existence.
Let me clarify a few things:
The lack of available appointments on the Italian Consulate's website is NOT the result of us reserving appointments.
Italian consulate randomly releases appointments that were canceled or unconfirmed by other applicants. Catching these appointments requires constant monitoring. Consulate releases canceled appointments very often, that is why we are able to catch an appointment for you within 2-3 days, the problem is that these appointments are usually taken immediately.
We have a team dedicated to monitoring appointment openings. When you pay our booking fee, we use that to pay staff that will uninterruptedly monitor consulate's calendar to book an appointment for you once it becomes available.
There is fierce competition in catching these appointments, so if you are not refreshing the calendar every few minutes for the whole day straight, you have low chances to catch an opening.
Some consulates discourages using services like ours, but our service is completely legal and works perfectly.
If we would have operated as you think, we wouldn't be in business for so long.

They'll charge you an arm and a leg
Can get you quick appointments, but they charge a ridiculous price ($400+) and they kept the full amount even though I cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice. Was pleased with the responsiveness, but very disappointed and frustrated that they didn't refund my money.

Mr. Khan asked to cancel his appointment one day before his appointment's date.
Our Return and Refund Policy, located within the Terms and Conditions on our website states a 48 hour rule:
"You must send us at least 48 hours prior notice to the schedule appointment date to receive a refund (less the cancellation fee)". - https://favisbook.com/terms-and-conditions/
After the appointment was scheduled, we require 48 hours notice to cancel the booking and refund our service fee, with no exceptions. We offer a full refund if a client requests to cancel an order before his appointment is confirmed.
