We decided to write this review to try to counterbalance at least some of the bad reviews here. Most of those, if not all, seem to be complaints from people who buy from a supplier that uses FastSpring. I suspect that, in most of these cases, the issue is more likely caused by the supplier rather than FastSpring. This review is intended to be helpful to anyone that offers a digital product or service and is considering using FastSpring's payment processing service. We've been using them for 10 years and they have been superb in every respect for us. We are something of a niche company that provides online team building through digital across the world. We have customers on every continent and in most countries. Handling payments in all the different currencies our customers use and dealing with the different tax regimes of their respective countries would be a huge nightmare were it not for FastSpring. They deal with all of that and make it very simple for our customers to buy from us and very simple for us to interact with them - both digitally on our web site and, on the very rare occasion when we've needed it, contacting their support team. Their support team is responsive (despite the time difference between us here in the UK and California) and always spot on with their advice. Do I wish they were a bit cheaper? Yes, of course. We'd like every supplier to offer their services and products for free ;) Are they worth the extra? Absolutely! Maybe it's because we're not fond of nightmares, but we find FastSpring indispensable.

We use FastSpring on our digital product e-commerce websites for more than 4 years and we're very happy about their service. It's easy to use and they have friendly& fast help-desk team.

FastSpring not only handles payments, but also VAT (or sales tax) calculation and settlement as well as invoicing and licence key generation. This allows me to fully automate the software sales process and to focus on software development. For the customer, the purchase process is easy to understand and straightforward.

I love FastSpring but I hate TrustPilot.
