Hey there, we've requested more information from you through Trustpilot so we can look into this. You can also raise a support ticket at fastmail.com/support to appeal this. Accounts are locked when we detect suspicous behavior such as sending spam.

Hi Bo. We've requested more information from you so we can confirm that this was addressed in alignment with our anti-fraud policies. If we allow spam to be sent from our servers, more and more spam reports over time would compromise the long-term sending quality of our IP addresses. That would then negatively impact our ability to deliver mail for all of our customers who are using Fastmail for its intended use. When we detect this, we take necessary action to prevent further misuse of our service.

While still dealing with Tyler Jones under Complaint PTN 1598856, I suffered the very unpleasant surprise that Tyler Jones or someone else inside Fastmail.com made 2 unauthorized charges to the Mastercard on file: Date: July 9, 2024 Dear Altair Pagani, Today we renewed your apagani AT fastmail.fm Basic subscription for 1 year. Your new subscription will expire on 2025-05-08. Basic subscription: USD $32.44 / 1 year - includes tax of USD $2.44 Opening account balance: USD $-8.81 Paid from Mastercard (**8287): USD $41.25 Date: July 12, 2024 Dear Altair Pagani, Today we renewed your apagani AT fastmail.fm Basic subscription for 1 year. Your new subscription will expire on 2025-07-11. Basic subscription: USD $32.44 / 1 year - includes tax of USD $2.44 Opening account balance: USD $-14.51 Paid from Mastercard (**8287): USD $46.95 This is shameful and confirms what other customers of Fastmail state: Fastmail reads your mail, Fastmail uses your credit cards on file without permission, Fastmail steals your content, and more

Awful company that does not comply with data laws - they withhold your data and their support team of Quinn and Tyler try to fob you off when you want to access private information. Had to involve solicitors and they have tried to ignore our solicitors also. Unethical company DO NOT USE or your data will disappear also. Legal Team and Data privacy team do not exist so be warned!!!

This is top 1 of bad mail providers. They read everything in your mailbox. And stolen data in your mail if it is important. I don't understand why fastmail can alive today? The app and mail server are bad, often got technical issue.

ZERO Privacy This company WILL read your email, they will analyze your usage, and they will lock your account if they even sniff impropriety, as if they are somehow entitled to deliver judgement on what is right and wrong. Oh the moral entitlement this company exhibits... So angering and likely borderline illegal (certainly illegal in countries with privacy protections). If you're OK with an inbox where every single message is reviewed by a "monitoring team" (their language not mine). Then go ahead. If you're not OK with this, then don't even think about signing up... If you have an account and this was never made clear to you, well now is a good time to reconsider your choice of email provider. My account with them lasted one day, before being flagged by said "monitoring team". And on top of that, they then request "justification" of my mail usage in order to regain account access. I told them I certainly don't owe them a justification for my private emails. What is this... the Internet police in the form of a nameless greedy corporation? No thank you. I hope their entire leadership team reads this review, and reflects for just a second on the privacy transgressions they allow this "monitoring team* to commit. Who is monitoring the monitoring team? How do you feel knowing you've deputized common employees to make judgements on an individual? This company has no business being in existence, providing what must be a private means of communication as a basic right of the Internet. Simply shameful. 0 stars.

Fastmail advertises 'Try Us For Free!' promising a 30-day free trial. They take your credit card and information to set up an account. Only then do they tell you there's no free trial, but don't worry--they'll add on a free month in your first year. When I saw what it would cost to add my wife as a second user, I decided it was not for me and closed my account. Did I get a free trial? No. Did I get my money back? No. In the jargon of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, this is a 'deceptive practice.' Ordinary people might use a different term.
