I am a senior citizen, never in 66 years have I understood insurance. FARMERS is the last company I would use. Don’t waste your money , or time with this company.. They will take advantage of both you and you hard earned money

I got sucked into one of those FB ads about getting cheaper insurance. I filled out the same form 20 times and was sent a Farmers quote that seemed reasonable, $200 less than current. I had Gainsco. I signed with them, but it was only a 1 month discount, because they keep demanding copies of my previous insurance. I sent them, but it wasn't sufficient, since my Truck which was not running for 2 years was not insured. I was not going to pay $500 a month just for the truck if it was not running. Cannot deal with them. My car was stolen and I called in today to speak with them, and got more smart assed crap. As soon as I can, I am switching companies.

It will take me too long to explain how this company lied to me and refused to renew my homeowners policy after 17 years without a claim and no issues whatsoever with my house. They assured me 4 times that they had resolved an issue they were mistaken on and now claim there is no evidence of that or the many hours I spent on the phone with them "fixing" it.

Been a loyal customer for several years, never missed payments, but when it's finally time for Farmers to cover damage to my truck that resulted immediately after a collision, they denied the claim. Crooks!

A neighbors undisputed negligence caused $4,000 damage to my pathfinder worth approximately $13,000.The neighbors Farmers insurance totaled the car while in the repair shop and offered me $6,000 and prepared to take the car and take it to a re-sale lot. I Paid cash to the shop for the repair job and declined the Farmers offer. Farmers had already totaled the car title with the Dept of licensing so I had to go to the DOL with the information and after their review they agreed that farmers had no right to total the car as did not meet the total requirements or their authority to do so. DOL issued a new unbranded title and I will be in the process of civil action with the neighbor. The Farmers adjusters and representatives I had the misfortune to have to deal with were unwilling to even address the issues or redress. This is also being referred to the State insurance commissioner at their request after they were advised of the situation. As a side note the repair shop advised that they had two other vehicles in their shop that were currently fighting the same issue with Farmers insurance trying to take later model cars by totaling them to sell them. UPDATE: The State Insurance Commissioner gave Farmers Ins. 15 days to justify their decision to total the vehicle and they opted to compensate me for the repair of the vehicle.

We were rear ended in our Ford F150 by a Dodge Ram that had a huge bull guard on the front. It completely totaled our truck. My husband and daughter were seriously injured, the impact was so hard. Our truck was in great condition and had a resell value of over $31,000. Our insurance offered high value of $31,000 and Farmers offered $27,000. We rejected their offer, and never signed paperwork, and told them we are accepting our insurance's offer, but they sent a check and never returned the calls to the claims dept. of our insurance, who needed them to release possession of our truck. Farmers is a rip-off, they charge the highest rates in the nation and low balls victims of their insureds. They really don't even deserve 1 star.

Absolutely outrageous customer service. Their claims department is populated with disingenuous people who lie - Elizabeth Cruz and Monica Ivicevic - who talk an circles to avoid accountability and taking responsibility for APPALLING CISTONER SERVICE - they won’t investigate Farmers own customer service even though you called them to investigate insurance fraud - they operate without any regard to the facts, give the benefit of the doubt to others, and screwed me out of a my good driver discount, without my knowledge for a suspicious claim I could have settled on my own. This is an awful company that is not to be trusted
