The Finance of America service has…really saved our lives!
The Finance of America service has proved to be the most helpful program for our situation. The stress of health issues combined with financial stress was unbearable. The relief of this program will allow us to live our lives day to day without additional worry while meeting our needs. We now are able to get repairs and replacement fixtures as they come along instead of having to wonder how we would pay for them. The Finance of America team were awesome to us to complete the process. Sincerely, the Brock's.

We have been trying to refinance
We have been trying to refinance, but it failed twice. Their reason told to us was that our property does not comply, or compete with prices in our are. A month ago a very rustic, old, ugly, slightly renovated horrible home a block from where we live was sold for $450,000.

Service from FAAR
The service from FAAR over the years was very good. My only issues had to do with keeping up with the interest rate reductions and a few of the fees. The people in the organization are very professional and responsive to the needs of their clients.

Clean and professional handling of all…
Clean and professional handling of all matters. However, the time frame for completion A-Z were terribly slow. In the case of the appraisal the process was not only slow but with no consequences for holding up the loan process.

Unfortunately, the appraiser is an independent nonaffiliated third party. They do not work for us and due to compliance regulations we do not communicate with them or contract them ourselves. We are not allowed to communicate with them directly, only through another third party so we have no influence on their results. They are certified to inspect and evaluate your property in adherence with FHA guides.

The refinance process is not yet…
The refinance process is not yet complete and I don't have any other refinance experience to compare. However, I can provide a review regarding the representative handling my refinance. From day one, she has been patient with initial delays on my part, very helpful in answering my questions and has taken time to fully explain the refinance process.
