I booked 2 airfare tickets and provided Faresplanet.com with credit card & signed contract. Was told I would get e-tickets within 24hrs. Next day, I called since I did not get my tickets. They explained they made a mistake on the reservation so had to re-issue tickets. I repeatedly emailed/called for 8 days since they promised every-day e-tickets would be sent. 10 days after booking, I knew I would never get them. Had no choice but book travel with another agency. The fare price had gone up exponentially but I was able to purchase and get my e-tickets from the other agency 3 hours later. I told Faresplanet they were fraudulent for not meeting their end of the contract. Also told them I purchased tickets from another agency. That’s when they asked how much I paid for them and if I would consider canceling so they can meet or beat the price. They were willing to provide e-tickets within the hour. Seriously? I had a contracted rate and never got my tickets. This is a complete scam where even the manager was lying to innocent customers. This company should be investigated and shut down. Please report this.

After booking my flight they called me to say that the fare had to be increased, could not tell me why. I followed up 48 hours later as I did not received the confirmation I was promised. I am now 9 days post booking with no confirmation and they will not answer the phone or return my messages. Complete fraud. It felt sketchy from the start, should have trusted my instincts. STAY AWAY!!!

Faresplanet.com is a fraudulent travel website. They called immediately after giving me a fake booking to say that the fare increased ~$100. Other customers report that to "cancel" a booking is ~$100 or agree to pay for tickets that are ever booked. They use "bait and switch" pressure tactics to force customers to pay for a cancellation fee when reservations were not actually ever booked, in my experience.

A COMLETE FRAUD! Took a chance and bought a ticket through Faresplanet and within hours a rep phoned from India saying they cannot honor the price and that need to pay $180 more and used pressure sales tactics to get me to agree, which I did not. Suddenly the price was "only" increased by $85, and then $57 after 30 minutes on the phone. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told that there is no manager available (everyone is outside?!), that there is a shift-change happening and no other people are available, that the rep does not know who the company owner is and he refused to give me the physical address, stating that they are not allowed to provide this information!!? I gave up and reported them to the US DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. Buyer Beware!!

Bait and switch, upped price by over $100 then again for more. Took a week because they said they couldn’t get the flight even though the original one I chose was still on their website. They do not buy packs of tickets, that’s BS. When they finally booked a flight, it was missing the last leg of the flight. I finally got sick of it and canceled with them. Never got the $95 fee back. Do not book with these guys they are frauds.

They are a bait and switch company. You book a trip at a price that does not exist and then they call you and tell you that price expired and try and sell you a ticket for hundreds of dollars more. Total False Advertising. They should be put out of business

I thought I had found a wonderful deal on flights but didn't receive any confirmation tickets after waiting for 4 hours. I tried to call the number, which was disconnected, and then waited online for the costumer service representative which took forever. Finally, someone in broken English calls to switch all my flights and tell me if will cost an additional $150 per person! I should have listened to the reviews. Please do not purchase from this site. If the deals are too good to be true, they are. Such a waste of time.
