You will need to contact the airline that you booked your ticket with (FareCompare does not handle transactions). Look for an email that has a confirmation number. This should also have the airline's contact information.Will airlines charge you if you change your departure?How do you know if you can fly to a certain destination? I set up a ‘watch’ and will get an e-mail stating my fare has dropped, but when I go to the site and then click on one of the supposed “fare offers” (clicking “details”) - all I see are fares much higher. (I.e. the e-mail said the fare was $991 and the site shows all prices at $1400 - $1700.

Because it keeps sending me emails about fares I'm not interested in even though I've set the preferences to only show me fares between specific destinations

"Fake" low advertised rates! I was never (ever) able to actually get a ticket for the price advertised. What's the point of getting a notification and as soon as you go to it, the fair is "mysteriously" gone. Total waste of time as the new "low fares" were never available for purchase.

When you send the fair alerts, I click on them and it doesn’t take me to any site. What is the point of having a fare alert?

One suggestion we encourage when you first search for airfare: utilize the filters on the left side (once you see the results). You can apply filters (duration, takeoff time, airlines, etc.) which could help narrow the itineraries down to the one that is most desirable to you. Please note that some airport locations have fewer airlines than others (which could keep the price high).
