Dishonest in their communication.
After booking our flights I rec'd a flight "confirmation number" and then in small print it said confirmation was pending and they would contact us if any problems. After several days and not hearing from them, we called and Jenni said our reservations were cancelled and the flight was now $100 more than the original deal. We're trying to rebook and I've been on hold twice for 20 min and each time and the line goes dead.
Fortunately they didn't charge my card so they're not total scammers but they do not communicate openly and honestly. I would not trust this site.

This Company is a SCAM don't BOOK!
Rebuttal: When I called you originally my concern was that you charged me more than the Ticket was worth and you argued with me stating that it was the lowest available, when obviously it was not, you charged me $198 in fees the Ticket itself was a total of $201.20 so explain the difference by charging me $398, this was not at your cost, even the airline was weary of your ethics and business practices, this is fraud if you're using another's ARC# again, there have been cases filed with the BBB and the ARC, I will never use a fly by night agency like this any longer I will stick to using the Airlines, it's not worth the hassles or the unethical business practices.
There have been quite a few negative reviews I wish I would of read them further it's not the first time you've ripped consumers off!

When I originally booked with this group for a lower rate in October, I received an email with the information but no confirmation flight, so I waited a few days for the confirmation, I called they mentioned they didn't have that airfare price any longer but they can give me a better Airline for their cost, well fast forward I found out that the Airline Cost was much lower than what I paid. I contacted the rep he continually said well I agreed to the price no refunds you probably didn't see the entire ticket which I had and sent it to them as proof and I would say this is definitely unethical. I was supposed to be leaving in a couple of days, unfortunately I've been exposed to COVID19 had to cancel, the same Airline said they can cancel for me but I should look in to why they charged me so much more, even with their supposedly $26-$30 booking fees it was $198 more on top of my fare. I contacted the Airlines Reporting Corporation because the rep wouldn't give me their address come to find out this company is run through an ARC# for Gateway Travel & Cruises and it's fraud it was a bait and switch not only with the initial booking but also with the company I thought I was dealing with the agent mentioned that this was fraud, so if you've used this company please contact the reporting agency like I did and file a BBB complaint they have quite a few, they're located in Colorado. FareBarber threatened to cancel my trip when I first complained if I left a bad review and if I reported them to the BBB, they said we'll cancel your trip and you won't get your money back or have tickets! This company is a SCAM!

@Gypsy GirlForever at first we deeply regret that you are exposed with COVID -19 and we hope you are recovering from the illness, with reference to your reservation with us we have provided you the cheaper fare than the market price and we have done the needful. We provided you tickets based upon your confirmation / permission only and you gave us your permission to book the tickets, you were also informed that tickets are non refundable and you agreed to it. Now few days before the flight you came to us stating that you cannot travel and want to cancel ( which you already knew that tickets are non refundable and cannot be cancelled ), now we made the reservation at the cheaper fare than the market price and you should understand that when tickets are booked for cheaper fare than the airlines price then these tickets are non refundable in travel industry ( general rule for all tickets booked at cheaper fare ), we understand you did not get the refund ( because you were aware about it beforehand that tickets are non refundable) and that is the reason why the frustration is obvious but not at all genuine which we understand ,thousands of passengers who do not fly or no show they request for refund but you have to be aware of the policies of the airlines. Furthermore you never provided the medical certificate or supporting documents proving that you have Covid -19 (we can understand it is real and pandemic has affected) but to check with the airlines for refund, you did not provide us with supporting documents to check for refund. On the recorded call (we have the proof) you initially said you want to cancel and after speaking to the one of our supervisor you said do not cancel the reservation. So you were never clear in your conversation in the first place and instead you did whole research which is completely out of context and has no correlation with the topic of refund. It does not matter really if it is online travel agency or airlines if you would have been clear with refund and provided the necessary documents to back up your case we could have genuinely supported you in getting refund.We understand that you wrote in such a length stating that it is a scam but thousands of passenger have already flown and they are happy , if you need proof of thousands of passenger who call us not only the reputed company but also praised us for giving up to 50%-60% discount and even more. Still we welcome you for using our services and i hope that next time when you book anywhere, you do not provide wrong information , be clear in your conversation and provide supporting documents to get refund .Your reservation is already cancelled by yourself and we hope you recover soon from the illness.

Horrible company that doesn’t know what the hell they are doing. I most definitely think these are all fake reviews, booked a trip and called two mins later & was sent to voicemail & plus when I finally got someone on the line, tickets were no longer available. They were trying to charge me $400 each for my boyfriend and I. Absolutely not. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT BOOK

Would rather WALK than book through them
Never even got a flight despite booking well in advance. Customer service is a joke and might as well be an answering machine from the nineties. Doubt there are even any “agents” to begin with. Do NOT book through this website. Pay the extra and book through someone else if you value your time and money. If the fare is too good to be true it probably is.

Do not use.
Had to call a month later after I did not receive an e-mail with confirmation numbers for my flight. Upon asking about the confirmation,the gentleman unprofessionally and in a very demeaning manner stated that he already sent them once to me. I had to call again the next day as he still did not send them. I was treated the same way again. I will never use this site again!!!

ZERO Stars!! Dont book with them. They dont offer the cheapest prices. They over priced my tickets by double. I would never purchase tickets with them again and would recommend anyone not to buy with them..
