FareBarberReviews of farebarber.com

unfortunately this site is a waste of time, they show you a great price for a flight than after you book it they call you later to tell you the price is no longer available even though you give them your credit card info to lock the price in. I was very disappointed to see a great airline carrier like United Airlines would allow them to play games with their costumers.

Today, Thursday, April 15 I tbooked a flight to San Juan, PR and my stats was pending. I called the company up to check why and a Rep name David was giving me the run around, comparing prices with me. I told him I would like to go on with my day and find out why my status is pending. Then David went on to tell me that I would have to pay 404 for my ticket when I booked it for 204$ I told him this was a scam and to cancel my booking. Not only did they try to charge me more than I paid, I called back to cancel my brothers ticket and the other rep Jeffery asked me if I spoke to anyone else about this and had me on hold for an hour and then hung up on me. I do not recommend this site for booking anything, this site is a total scam and I will proceed to tell everyone that I know, complain on all social media platforms. Total waste of time and energy. - After writing this review I had to edit it so that I can add some more. The Rep David went onto texting my phone about me posting this review and that they did not charge me, in my review I wrote that they tried to charge me not that they did charge. Then David called me to argue, he is very unprofessional and tried to bully me about my review! I hope everyone sees this review and won't even wast their time, UNPROFESSIONAL TO THE MAX! Then David went to proceed to text me telling me he is advising his legal team about my review. I never had any travel agency contact my via text or call my phone. This has to be an starter travel company.

Do not waste your time booking anything w/ this company. They are a scam. They have prices of flights that are cheaper than anywhere you would look but It will not be the price you pay to receive your ticket. In reality, they have tickets that don’t exist. They have you think you’ll get your flight for the price that is displayed, just for you to book It, realize it’s in pending, call them to figure out what’s going on, just tell you that your ticket for the price you want is not available and that you would have to pay 3x-4x the amount you originally agreed for. They’re terms and conditions explain that you will pay the price that is displayed and if changes happen, you will be notified. No one contacted me and the representatives, managers, supervisors, etc are all clueless & will tell you a higher price to scam more money out of you. Please, report them to the better business bureau. They are NOT a truthful and trustworthy company.

These people are scammers. Booked my flight in a Friday night, 6 tickets and then the following day received a call from David Hunt saying the website did not accurately give pricing because it didn’t count all the tickets. He finally found me a flight and assured me that night that my flight was good to go. He emailed me and even asked I confirm that I agree right away. After that I did not get any further confirmation. I emailed, texted, and called him on a Monday to confirm all was confirmed since my flight was to leave Saturday and I didn’t get any flight number. He confirmed verbally all was good and I would get something soon, due to the weekend I didn’t receive confirmation. On Tuesday night, the week of my flight he called to tell me that the flights were not booked and I had to pay $88 each ticket more to confirm my seats and there was no other option. This is after he assured me several times my to flight was booked and price was confirmed. I requested they cancel my booking. I found ticket directly from Jet Blue airlines cheaper and from the destination I originally requested. They lie about pricing and tell you when they think you have no choice to book with them. Not trustworthy!

Scammers. I am disgusted by the way this company runs itself. My flight was literally changed 3 times. First "confirmed" flight was placed 4 weeks before my flight and every week after that (even a week before my flight!) I am still getting calls saying "your flight is not the same price anymore you have to add an extra x amount otherwise we cancel your flight" ARE YOU SERIOUS? A WEEK BEFORE MY FLIGHT! I don't care if the company's excuse is "that's our policy". Change that policy because its unprofessional and seems fraudulent. If anyone here is trying to save money on their flights, steer clear of this company. The reason for ordering your tickets weeks in advance is to save money and not get an "updated" call every week with a more expensive ticket leaving you with no other option but to cancel. Decline any "updated" offer.

SCAM!!! Please avoid this website. They are a SCAM

Bait and Switch fraudulant company

IF I COULD I WOULDN'T EVEN RATE THIS WEBSITE A 1, I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS. THIS WEBSITE IS A TOTAL SCAM! THEY LIE ABOUT THE PRICES THAT THEY PUT UP, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, MY ISSUE WAS NEVER SOLVED. I BOOKED A FLIGHT FOR 277 AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME TRIPLE THE AMOUNT AFTER BEING PROCESSED. I FOUND THE SAME TICKET AT ANOTHER WEBSITE FOR 300 AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD MATCH THE PRICE, BUT GUESS WHAT? THEY OBVIOUSLY DID NOT DO THAT! NEVER EVER BUY FROM HERE! THEY PUT PRICES THAT THEY DON'T PROMISE. TRUST ME AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM BUYING FROM THIS WEBSITE.
