SCAM - Bait and Switch. On 11/28/22 We booked Delta flights for a family of four from LAX to Miami, FL. The website has cheap pricing of $200 per ticket, however when we booked the tickets it shown pending status. Then they called us back and told us they don't have those seats available and we have to pay $500 per ticket which is more expensive than normal price online. This is bait and switch, trying to lure you to buy something more expensive. SCAM.

I booked a ticket to Miami for $287 but after I paid, it said payment was pending approval. Weird. Then they call me saying the flight was overbooked and wanted to charge me $500 more. Why would i wanna pay that much to a third party vendor? 👎🏼

I bought 7 round trip tickets from LA to NY but had to cancel. They gave me an option to purchase insurance to receive a 50% credit on my total purchase price. They also told me that if I book at least 4 tickets with them in within the year, they will refund me part of the insurance purchase price. Below is the email sent from Farebarber: Just to let you know that we missed one thing to notify you once you make the trip next time you will get a $398.00 refund on the same card which you used before with us. The total amount of refund is $398.00 which is the base price of insurance. Which is covered on this reservation. I have trying to get my refund. I have spoken to David, Jeffrey, and Michael. They do not respond to my emails. They hang up on my calls or send me to voicemail or place me on hold for over 30 minutes. They never give me a reason as to why the refund has not been given. They just keep telling me they will look into in but when I follow up, they don’t respond. I am not sure why they are not following through with their end of the contract. They are the ones who offered me to purchase the insurance and confirmed via email that a refund of $398 will be placed back on my credit card once I purchase additional tickets within the year. I completed my part if the agreement but they have not.

Farebarber cannot be trusted. I purchased an insurance and they are to give me a refund back to my credit card but it’s been six months and they have yet to credit my card. Everyone I spoke, (David, Jeffrey, Mack, and Michael) all gave me a run around and was never able to give me a clear reason as why the refund was not processed. They stated they will get back to me but they never did. I gave sent multiple emails and call many times. They don’t respond to my email and either hang up my call or place me on hold until it goes to voicemail. I am just asking them to refund my card and follow through on their end of the contract. Here is the email stating that I am to get a refund back on my credit card: Just to let you know that we missed one thing to notify you once you make the trip next time you will get a $398.00 refund on the same card which you used before with us. The total amount of refund is $398.00 which is the base price of insurance. Which is covered on this reservation. I have already made the trip purchase and now am asking for the base price of the insurance back on my card as Farebarber has promised on the email. I am not sure why they are not providing the refund nor giving me any clear reason as to the delay. They have just been ignoring me. They weren’t ignoring me when I wanted to purchase tickets. I am not asking for something that I am not entitled to. Farebarber is the one who sent me the email stating that I will receive a refund.

Terrible. Their website is too good to be true. I booked a flight (or so I had thought) to Lima but they never confirmed the flight, and alli received was an email saying “pending “. When I called to confirm they said that flight wasn’t available any more but I could be put on a similar flight on Copa air but it was about $300 more! They swore to me this was the best rate I would find and that I should hurry, so I agreed. Luckily for me, that flight wasn’t confirmed either as I never got my confirmation email even though they had charged my credit card. After waiting 20 minutes on hold, they told me the copa flight wasn’t available either!!! They then told me for $114 more I could book i flight on Delta. I said no way! And demanded my money back. They finally agreed to this after trying to give me one more “deal”. And I was done, I have no faith in this business. To make the story worse (though as long as I get my refund I’ll be fine), I looked up flights again and found the original American Airlines flight for the original price through the AA app. So I booked it. Screw farebarber, it’s a trap

COMPLETE SCAM!!! Do not use!!!! Took my credit card and would never verify the flight. Then tried to upswell for double the money. When I said no the HUNG UP ON ME. Called back numerous times and put me on hold and would not talk to me. SCAM ALERT! Now they sent a response (below) to my review saying no reservations under my name???? That is a complete lie- it was under myself and my husbands name and I have the booking confirmation number. Whoever answered the phone also had my name and phone number because they called me by name when they answered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

They are not answering their calls it’s Monday and it said it’s a 24hr support but nope they’re not answering I book 10/24 still pending and I call no answer

If I could give this company zero stars I would. This company is the worst! Myself and 7 other friends were going to fly to Miami to take a cruise. We bought our tickets through Farebarber thinking that we were getting a good deal. Around the time of our trip hurricane Ida hit, which completely ruined our plans. The airline cancelled our flight due to the airport being closed. We called Farebarber and they agreed to give us a credit for a future trip. So myself and my friends decided to take a vacation to Miami without the cruise. We called Farebarber to retrieve our credits and this company was trying to get another $450.00 a piece besides the first $450.00 we initially paid last year. We explained to them that we already looked up airline flights for roundtrip tickets to Miami, and the first $450.00 we paid them should be more than enough to cover our flights. Farebarber did not want to hear that so we agreed on a refund. Well that's been sense May, and still no refund. Every time I call, someone would tell me that a supervisor will call me back, and no one calls back. We are hard working women who do not have money to give away. Shame on this company
