It is headache inducing and impossible to read the the fanfiction with 50 ads in it an every half scroll down between them. I have to read on DuckDuckGo to get uninterrupted enjoyment and reading done

I'm trying to access only old fanfiction account but can only remember my username, it used to be you could use the forgot password link and use either your email address or username, but now you can only use the email address and whatnot, which is just a pain as I completely forgot my email for a certain fanfiction account.

even when this site is still better than Deviantart, this site is ended up dying and here's the reason why: 1. it's gotten boring: when you read fanfic in any fandom there, they always have same plots: High School AU(one of worst fanfic cliche ever), Werewolf AU, Fifty Shades AU, Enemies-to-Lovers, you name it (more reason I can find fanfics that limit stuff it crossovers into just 2-3 franchises at most are way too cliche and boring for me) 2. lack of reviews: Hardly anyone review stories nowadays 3. Formatting issues: some people complains about missing quotes from fanfics that posted here 4. even when I signed-in there, the place that shows our usernames there everytime we signed-in there says login instead of whatever username of those signed-in there 5. I hardly uses forums there cuz Spambots among other reasons 6. it's dying: people that used to post in FF.net no longer active there 7. not to mention FF.net's search bar can't find anything I type there more reason I stick with AO3 for posting my fanfics, and even then some of my fanfics that posted in AO3 are supplementary materials for my mega-crossover project

I wish I could delete my account. Customer support is not helping anymore. They're either lazy or just don't give a crap. I've sent an email about adding a new category for a movie I'm writing about a few days ago and I received no response. AO3 and Wattpad is way better.

No one monitors this site anymore so if there's an issue you are out of luck. I found a new email that supposedly goes to someone who works there, they never answer.

Pretty awful site. It's the same for years and no one is improving it since forever. The Admins are extremely lazy... Like a lot of this sites they don't allow certain themes that are often required for writing a story in specific genre. Try to write about horror slashers without violence. How? In the end it's a kid version of better writing platforms. Plus ff.net is full of trolls. Absolutely no fun. I would recommend other sites to upload stories or read them.

You have a Predator who writes stories but he also stalks his victims. My wife also writes stories & he started reviewing hers and sending her compliments to entice her and it worked. He soon had her email and sent thousands of inappropriate messages thousands of words long & pretending to be a Christian. So called Prayers every morning & they talked 10-12 hours a day for 3 months. He broke up our Marriage he's EVIL! I have some of his evil emails saved if needed. He goes by DanimalBr and TropicalStormFl The picture is of him! This is the start of one out of thousands! Father please forgive us for every time and everywhere that we have allowed our lust and desire for physical intimacy to take over and control us and we allowed sex to become an idol in our lives. Lord, both Heather and myself acknowledge that we are weak and we are incapable of being totally obedient to you on our own. Father, our spirits are willing, but our flesh is weak. Heather and I both have the desire to want to follow you and be obedient to your word and to serve you and live for your glory and not our own. However, we are weak in our flesh.

The truly great thing about this site is how long it has been around. There are some really fun stories on this site. However, in that time there have been a few updates here and there... and that's it. I don't feel like the people who run the site actually care about making sure the site runs optimally. Every other month there is a new problem. A couple of months ago I started getting double chapters and double reviews, all of them copies in my emails. Have they even looked at it? I have no idea but it certainly hasn't been fixed. Now I've been trying to post chapters to stories I've put up already, and new disappear. Nobody can get there, nobody can review it, nobody can even read it. I get that with sites there will be problems, but none of these ever seemed to actually be solved. That is no way to run a site.
