Absolute CRAP!
Jacket would be 5 stars if you want to dry clean an 8yr old's white jacket every week and also expose her to dry cleaning chemicals. Otherwise here is what you have to do to "clean". #1 cold water, delicate cycle. Fine. 1st problem coat weighs over 10lbs soaking wet. So my new front load machine had a hard time with this weight as it is a lump and not balanced. Fine. Stopped wash & did normal cycle, low spin. When done I tried to remove. Heavier than all my towel loads. AND soaking wet. Called my washer hotline and asked if I could spin something this heavy cuz after all I wash a load of 8-10 towels. Problem isn't weight, its that it is UNBALANCED load. They suggested throwing a bunch of wet towels next time in the washer spin cycle. I'm pretty sure that will ruin the coat. So after trying to wring out by hand, (so hard) I threw it in the tub to dry. 24hrs later still soaking wet. She wants to wear this for her bday tomorrow. Good luck! Says absolutely no heat of any kind. Not even cold hair dryer cuz acrylic fibers can melt. WT..?ALSO I used reg Tide (not whitening) and very, very little as it was a new coat...well,coat has taken on a strangley yellow cast. I'm effed all around. God only knows what people have gone through with an adult coat. All this aggravation for $150 bucks. Shop kohls or target online and buy something beautiful but washable for 1/4 the price.
