I have been updating my glasses with eyeglassdirect for many years. The craftsmanship is good. The prescriptions are accurate. The cost is reasonable.

I have been buying similar versions of the same eyeglasses, since 2007, from Eyeglassdirect. The quality of construction of your product far exceeds what I experienced with another online site. I was tempted by a $8 pair of prism corrected glasses at another site. They only lasted two months -- both temples broke and the frame cracked. So, I returned to eyeglassdirect.

The site was easy to use, I love the glasses. I would definitely use the company again. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I placed my order and waited for the confirmation email to let me know my glasses had shipped. It never came. After a little over a week I called the customer service number and the gentleman that answered the phone must have had my package/order information right there because he knew who I was and said he would pop them in the mail to me. They came shortly after that.

Happy with the purchase . I won't give a 5 Star until after a year,.

Over 10 years ago I purchased some custom made reading glasses with pricey light weight titanium frames in the glasses shop at a local Walmart. A few years later I had the scuffed up lenses replaced. When I went back for another lens set replacement about a year ago, I was told my old frames were obsolete and new lenses were no longer available for them. A few months later I tried a local glasses shop if they could replace the lenses. The professional in that shop told me that after a few years of wear the oils from one's head make titanium frame far to "brittle" for lens replace, and that the titanium would literally crumble into little pieces if they tried to put new lenses in them. Both Walmart and the local glasses shop offered costly alternatives to replacing the lenses. I found Eyeglassdirect online. They seemed so nonchalant about replacing the lenses in my titanium frame reading glasses that I was a little suspicious they might not be on the up and up. I sent in my old glasses. They came back about a week later with new lenses as promised. Walmart and the local glasses shop manager were wrong. Lenses are available for my old frames and 10 year old titanium frames do not crumble into little pieces when lenses are replaced in them. The lenses do not seem to be quite identical. Otherwise, I would give a 5 stars rating. (The problem could very well be that my aging eyes are not identical.)

Tried 3 different optical companies. All three returned a usable lense, but these are the best returned for second pair. A little slow, but by far best quality.
