I was trying to book a dinner reservation. Each time Tock would say there was a problem with the payment, but the money was taken from my card and I have no reservation. I tried 4 times before I realise they were taking the money

We signed up for a bus tour of space x in mcgregor Texas through tock and when we got there and showed our confirmation they turned us away and told us this was a bogus website that we made the reservations through. What a disappointment!

I would give this zero stars if I could. We were explicitly told by the company’s sales associate at the time of signing that if we chose to go a different direction instead of using ticketed sales, we could cancel the contract. That turned out to be completely untrue. As a brand-new small business trying to get established, we’ve wasted thousands of dollars on a platform we never used and have been unable to get out of the subscription. Extremely disappointing and misleading sales practices. Actually the worst customer service experience Ive ever had with a company.

Why is making a reservation so difficult nowadays?? I make reservations for quite a few people as I'm an EA. I don't appreciate having to create multiple accounts to do something so simple! I recently made a reservation for my manager at Aria Ristorante. After some frustration with the Tock site, I called the restaurant instead. An arrogant guy answered who insisted that the reservation system was good and that it was the same as Open Table, which it is not. Tock doesn't allow you to book under multiple names. It initially pulled my son's name from Google, then my name. That's why I finally called the restaurant to correct the reservation information.

I would like to make a complaint about your webpage and customer service. I made a booking on Saturday 17th January for a table for 2, however due to unforseen circumstances I was not able to attent the restaurant. There was nowhere to cancel my booking, no options even when I created an account. Your company will take banking information and store, knowing that £10 is charged for a cancellation or a no show. Basically you are not allowed to cancel and therefore you will take people's money regardless. This is poor service and needs to be a little more fair.

Receiving constant spam calls and text after using Tock to make a restaurant reservation. Not good.

After making a reservation and inputting all my information I have been receiving non stop scam / spam calls as in 10-15 a day. Ever since then. I usually wouldn't be sure it was one website or data breach or anything like that but in the 3 weeks leading up to getting so many calls this was the only new website or app I put my information into and it started the day after. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER THEY WILL JUST SELL IT AND MAKE YOUR LIFE A PAIN!!

Avoid using Tock for restaurant bookings. I made a genuine mistake (wrongly booked similar named restaurant) but within a minute I attempted to contact Tock. As per other reviews - zero chance of reaching customer service. Further, the policies listed on the Tock booking page also differ to what is stated on the actual restaurant site so I see a battle looming if I am charged $400 (Tock says I can cancel over 24 hours (booking 34 hours away) but the restaurant webpage says 48 hour). Use a simpler and more friendly platform such as OpenTable. Tock is a nightmare and not user friendly and there zero support available.
