Our family group of 5 divers just returned from the Tiburon Explorer in the Galapagos. Fantastic trip at every turn. The crew: Captain Otto, divemasters Daniel and Giovanni, Herman, Solomon and staff, went above and beyond at every turn. The dive briefings were thorough and informative, the crew made getting in and out of the pangas a no-pressure experience, the food was outstanding, the boat was comfortable and clean. Literally the only thing that could have been better were the outdoor seat cushions! When that's the only negative you can say, then you know the experience was pretty amazing. Of course, the diving itself set a whole new standard. All the big stuff: schools of hammerheads, galapagos sharks, eagle rays, etc passing you at arm's reach. Octopus, small fish of every kind, just right there. Beautiful.

Boat was in very good condition, clean all systems working properly. Crew including Capitan very professional, knowledgeable friendly and polite. Very good and plentiful food. Very creative chef was preparing excellent meals. High attention to safety and security. Highly recommended.

Explorer Venture- Turks & Caicos I don’t even know where to start. As a business owner in the dive industry, I know a tightly run ship when I see one. Bringing our customers to another company for a dive vacation for the first time always is a bit worrisome because you don’t know how things will go. This was an amazing experience for all of us in so many ways. Capt Bob was amazing and his dad jokes were punny and on point! His nightly glass ringing for dessert and plans for the evening were always met with happy excitement for what was upcoming. Our purser, Arenthia was the hostess with the mostest, never missing a beat and full of sunshine at every turn. Jo, Tino and RJ were our amazing in water guides/instructors. Our dive briefings, costume changes, tank fills, gear checks, safety guidelines were fantastic. The amount of information they delivered regarding each site and the marine life we would see was in depth and brought alive with stories and “booty” dances to keep us on the hunt for the next amazing creature we would see. Their knowledge and attention to detail was outstanding. It’s hard to lump them together because individually they added so much personality and enthusiasm to the trip, they forever have a place in my heart. Fabian’s meals were outstanding and I have no idea how he kept up a pace for meals and snacks every time we woke up or came back from a dive. Flavors were amazing and we never even thought about being hungry because food was always out. Mark is your go to guy for running any vessel. His behind the scenes efficiency kept everything running smooth and while we didn’t get much time with him, he was there in a flash with a smile whenever he was needed. If this crew represents Explorer Ventures’s attention to finding the perfect staff, we want to visit every ship. They never stop moving in the background and at the same time you feel like your every question and whim is the sole focus. I have no idea how they work so many hours a day and never stop smiling. Mother Nature did her job too. Water was warm, viz was amazing, Turks and Caicos diving is spectacular. It’s a must dive and more than once. We will be back and we will be with Explorer Ventures. To the crew… come see us in Jupiter, we would love you to be our guest. This was one of my favorite all time trips anywhere and I’m only sad because we are going home. We had a wonderful week on the Turks and Caicos explorer . The staff were super friendly, very knowledgeable about the dive sites, and we felt very safe throughout the trip. We had multiple specific food requirements in our party and we're catered for excellently by the chef - Fabian. The whole crew were exemplary but a special mention goes to the dive guides Pat and Tino for their enthusiasm and knowledge. This is the second explorer vessel I've been on and I would definitely book them in the future.

We had the best time on the Turks and Caicos Explorer II! This was our first liveaboard experience and it far exceeded all expectations. Captain Bob was phenomenal- entertaining, personable, and was also able to get us out to French Cay when the weather hadn't looked promising earlier in the week. Chloe prepared and organized an incredible onboard experience as well as made my husband feel so special and celebrated on his birthday. DMs Tino and Jay had great experience, gave wonderful briefings and underwater tours, and also taught me so much about all of the life I was seeing. As well, were very personable. Fabian was a phenomenal chef, preparing wonderful food of many different cuisines! We never went hungry and always had ample options to choose from at every meal. Arenthia kept us safe on nightwatch and was a delightful conversationalist every morning at breakfast. Mark kept the boat running smoothly, jumped straight into action and quickly resolved an issue when the toilet system malfunctioned. All in all, we loved every second of this trip. Some of the best diving with the clearest water we have ever seen. We were lucky to encounter THREE dolphins, an eagle ray, many sharks, rays, eels, lobsters, crabs, and countless tropical fish, just to name a few! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to come back!

The best boat, the best crew, they are everything I have hope for Galapagos and beyond. Tiburon explorer is a modern luxury live-aboard boat that is well designed for today's divers' needs and comfort. The fact that you can wake up with big windows and insane ocean views is beyond my imagination. Danielle and Alex were our divemasters, they are extremely experienced, genuine and funny. They made sure we are safe during the dives and create great vibes for us before and after dives. I feel lucky to have them as our divemasters. The crew Herman and Solomon are our main guys in taking care of our dining and housekeeping, but we know everyone work equally as hard in front or behind the scene. Together they were always going the extra miles to create the impeccable experiences for us. Whenever we leave our rooms, the rooms magically became clean and tidy. The boat was always spotless. Before and after dives they help us with gearing up/down, bring us water and hot chocolate, turn the outdoor shower up a few minutes before we come back so we get hot water right away. The crew work so hard it looks as if they never take a break. It would be great for guests to be generous with tips, it's a big part of their income and they truly deserve the rewards. How to make it better? Just turn down the current at Darwin and Wolf a little and heat up the ocean water temperature at Isabella (Just kidding :D) I wore a 5mm Bare evoke at Wolf and Darwin and found it to be sufficient (7mm is probably better). Isabella and Fernandina should be at least 7mm with vest and/or hood, or 7mm semi dry (end of May). Definitely bring dive gloves, SMB, and dive lights in case of cave dive or night dive. The onboard wifi can support up to low resolution videos on YouTube. To conclude, I enjoyed every bit of my trip and cannot wait for my next opportunity to return!

The staff and the service on the Humbodlt Explorer were outstanding. The dives were amazing and it was a bucket list trip that did not disappoint.
