Spacious cabin and courteous crew
Cabin was spacious and clean. The crew was always standing by to help donning and undonning gears. I had difficulty getting back on the boat after the dives, (I had no more finger strength after soaking in cold water for 40 minutes) . The DM helped take off my camera, belt, tank and even my fins so that I could climb up the boat easily. Dive briefing was very detailed. And the food was great.

The trip of a lifetime on the Black Pearl
Maria ensured that I had as much dive time as possible to enjoy the wonderful coral and tropical fish. She told me that my mask could give me better visibility and cleaned it for me to perfection - I was not aware before but, after that it was amazing how much better my vision was - she is an angel above and under water. Gabriel found the best dives for us and gave us all the excellent briefing to work with the current and see the best and most fish. He is also very entertaining and both he and Maria made us feel like good friends or family. The dives were PERFECT!!! The rooms were beautiful w/ tropical flower decoration and very neat and clean. The food was very healthy and excellent. All the staff was super friendly! The Black Pearl is a real pearl and it was perfect. Thank you for the dive trip of a lifetime. I thought our experience in Galapagos could never be the same, but Palau was perfect as well!

We had excellent service onboard
We had excellent service onboard, the vessel is in good shape and is very comfortable. The Maldives has some great diving, if perhaps a little more challenging due to current. The service on board the ship was great, and the staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and happy.

Boat was amazing
Boat was amazing , Staff were fantastic! Food was delicious and prepared for all needs . From start til finish I can't say enough positive things about everyone . We were on the Emperor Explorer in the Maldives
