I just had a shed delivered today from Expect Distribution, ordered it via Wickes. Booking the delivery was fine, they did deliver on the day we wanted and in the timescale they provided (on the day of delivery only). I did chase the delivery the day before to ask for a specific delivery time but was told "you're not our customer, you need to talk to Wickes". I spoke to Wickes, then Powersheds (the supplier), both companies emailed Expect Distribution but this wasn't resolved. I did mention I'd happily pay extra for the earliest slot. The delivery itself was quite poor hence the low rating. I asked the delivery driver to move the palletised shed up a communal alley to the top, this was declined as "the pump truck couldn't go in the pallet the other way". Driver then suggested leaving the shed on the road... in a disabled parking space. I said if it's not left on the property I can't sign for it, which Driver said is fine. I went inside to make a call and the driver then proceeds to use the pump truck in the other side of the pallet (where it couldn't go before), and leaves the pallet blocking a communal walkway. Great job! To expect distribution, I read your website and saw the quote "expect the best", most customers expect the best, but after looking through your reviews, you clearly don't always provide the best. I'll be reviewing this delivery with Wickes and Powersheds.

Despite a 10-hour delivery window, “Expert” failed to make my delivery and worse, made no attempt to contact me to let me know they were not coming. So I sat around all day for no reason. I emailed to ask what was happening, which they ignored. No contact was made to rearrange the delivery but a van eventually turned up at 2PM the following day, fortunately while I was in. Do not use this company, their service is terrible, customer communication is zero and from what my delivery driver told me, my tale is a common one. If I could give zero stars I would.

Just witnessed an 'expert' driver from Expert Distribution refuse to deliver a palett drop of one palette because company policy is they cant stop on double yellow lines. Even though the law states heavy goods vehicles can stop for 40 mins on double yellows whilst making a delivery. Instead he parked illegally a quarter of a mile away taking up most of the pavement for 40 minutes and even popped to tesco to get a snack. We ended having to borrow a palett truck to move the delivery. Numb nuts had one on his wagon. But he refused to help. The shop owner was a women on her own. Customers ended up having to help her. We were annoyed as you might expect. So may have been rude to him. At one point the man baby got so upset he decided to take the goods back. I had to beg him to change his mind I have never witnessed anything as petty. We called the company and they backed him up. Best avoided

Disgisting place to work. Ever heard of the term your just a number well here is a whole new ball game you are spoken to with zero respect. I was there 1.5 hours before i finally had enough. Go in for forklift job and end up cleaning and hand balling boxes onto pallets. Dont mind helping doing different things but they treat you so badly. Management think there gods gift. Look down there wonky noses at ya. If you ask a question about the job on the 1st day dont forget they take the wee out of ya. Honestly dont bother

Delivery driver came up drive, did not ring bell or knock on our door. He saw our next door neighbour was outside in their drive and handed our parcel to them over our wall. I have a Ring doorbell and motion detector shows no attempt to knock or Ring. Member of our household had to run out and get it from neighbour having noticed van pull up. This clown driver then attempted a separate delivery to a house opposite and pulled a similar stunt. This time he simply left the parcel in that persons next door neighbours property. that time he did just a tiny knock and no waiting for an answer.

DO NOT USE or BUY from this company!! The treatment towards staff members is absolutely disgusting. I am writing a formal review on behalf of a former colleague which has then impacted dramatically as a downward spiral. This company has made several members of staff made redundant (those who have worked here less years) and refused to pay any kind of redundancy money. Subsequent to this - Expect distribution has also refused to pay any wages to those who have left if they do not work their weeks notice. Yes that’s right… WEEKS NOTICE!! In a time of crisis this company would rather use sub contractors than real hard grafting men. Why would you want to work, or buy from a company that have such poor attitudes towards their own “staff”. Imagine if you were a customer? Do you think it would be any different? My review is completely accurate and based on MY personal experience with the company. As a director of a legal company myself I will seek to take this further as justice for all colleagues that have been mistreated.

Really bad experience....they seem to pick and choose who they deliver to. was waiting for a delivery (paid for next day), they obviously looked at our house and too far off their route of the way so said they simply won't deliver. they said the road was too tight, even though they had absolutely no way of checking this (and despite the fact I reiterated that we get much bigger lorries delivering to us and offered top provide video evidence) - can only assume they cant be bothered or have very inexperienced drivers or really nasty bosses....I honestly don't know. If you are unfortunate to have these guys deliver to you, expect them not to deliver.
