Not sure what happened here, the truck never showed up, went to the wrong address and I would have never known it had it not been for one of the local print shop workers calling me to say there was a truck there asking for me. I called three times throughout the day to make sure the driver was en route but never got a return call and then my customer service rep left for the day without providing a solution. My freight is still sitting in the loading dock and we missed our receiving deadline because of this. Huge disappointment and waste of our time!!

We always remind AP team to send remittance advice but they never do. We always have to send an email and ask for it.

Hi Team, I booked the shipment from your portal but when the shipment supposes to be picked up your carrier deny to work as they are saying they don't have the proper equipment to pick up this cargo. so we canceled this shipment from your portal and give it to another carrier.

When you think of freight companies and logistics you think of communication, efficiency and timeley deliveries. My shipment of 1 pallet of goods was received on 3/2 in the same city as the final destination. The goods were to leave the warehouse by 3/9 and ExFreight was informed on 3/7 they were ready for pick-up. ExFreight did not end up picking up the goods until Monday 3/13. This resulted in an additional $120 in warehouse fees that was charged to me, even though it was their mistake. I was informed that the delivery is a 1 day delivery however after waiting days for my shipment was contacted and told it would be delivered on 3/20 which resulted in my project being delayed considerably and lost revenue . I placed multiple calls and emails to Jennifer Anderson who was supposedly my point person with ExFreight and received not 1 response or acknowledgement from her. I arranged a fork lift to receive the goods at their request and requested that the driver or someone call me prior to delivery so I could ensure a smooth receipt and inform them where the delivery needed to be dropped at. They did not call me and instead of delivering to my business address somehow delivered to my home address even though I had in my email signature, the notes and emailed at one point the final destination. Thankfully the trucking company was kind enough to reroute the shipment without to the final destination even though ExFreight told me it would be at the least an additional 48 hours before delivery could be arranged and there would be additional costs that I would be required to pay. So in a nutshell, ExFreight was late to pick-up the shipment from the warehouse resulting in additional fees, late in delivering the shipment resulting in what would have been additional fees and unresponsive to my calls and emails requesting a phone call to clear up why this was such a disaster. I would urge anyone who wants their goods in a timely manner to consider another company.

I wish there was a rating lower than one star, because they don’t even deserve that. Absolutely, highway robbery, is what I can sum up my experience with this company, both with their US people and their reps overseas. After having overpaid for full delivery and customs clearance services (DAP), once the ship arrived at the destination, they started with bogus excuses about my documentation and asked me to amend them and add irrelevant information that had never been required previously, neither in the US and nor at the destination country (UAE). In the meantime, costing me multiple couriers and delivery delays. Once they and their reps ran out of excuses, they slapped on extravagant storage charges for the merchandise that THEY had held ransom and delayed. Calling the agent at ExFreight was a joke too! The customer service lady couldn’t even dial the extension number correctly to connect me to the person “handling” my shipment and I was disconnected. When I called back, she found it amusing and was laughing about it. Finally, my “agent” was apologetic and said he was new (because the conversations are supposed to be recorded), but made me wait to ask his manager for a remedy. Personally, I don’t even believe he asked anyone anything, but returned and while blaming everything on the company representing THEM in the destination country offered a 5% discount on those storage charges. All this, was while that other company was telling my consignee that it’s the US office instructing them to make these charges. Eventually, despite the promises and agreement that the agent in the US had made, when the next day my consignee returned to collect the goods, was told that the charges have increased by another 25%, let alone a 5% discount! This nightmare has yet to finish…my shipment has not yet been delivered!

Incompetence all the way around. They are holding my container hostage. They say that the container was inspected by customs to the amount of 2400.00 I did no know this until the container was here and grounded for 24 hours already. They then said we cant get pickup numbers until you the payment for the customs expense clears. The cargo was customs cleard on 7/10/2022 it got here on 8/8/2022 I found out today it takes the steamship line 48-72 hours to process the payment. Whey did we not know about the payment when it was on the rail? How did it get cleared by customs and then inspected?Nobody has answers and everyone says>>> it is out of our control. Who is in control? where does the buck stop? They already have $38,000 dollars of my money for 2 months now and they can't figure out what's happening and how to get this container released! Again complete incomitance on their part!!! I have also spoken to someone more then once in the last 2 weeks while it was on the rail. with no indication that there was a problem. It has been paid in full since July 10, 2022. Now they are asking for more money to release the PU#. I think its a scam! These people are Scammers and are doing business with Scammers. Don't do business with Ex-Freight Zeta or CMA-CGM. They are Scammers and take no responsibility for what the companies they work with are doing. In the least they could be honest and tell you that your container was booked with a steamship line that does not do there job.
