TruGrip Indoor Shot quality not what they used to be...
MF Athletic isn't the cheapest option but they are dependable. Quick shipping. Great customer support. My rating is NOT about their service but about this particular product. I have been a big fan of the TruGrip indoor shot puts for years. They have a solid outer shell and don't bounce much. Unfortunately, MF has changed suppliers (or their original supplier changed some things). The old versions (darker red casing) took a ton of abuse and lasted forever. I have yet to have one to fail to make weight or need to be "retired" due to a damaged shell. The newer versions come in a brighter red casing. I had one athletes shell bust open on the first practice. Full disclosure, MF immediately replaced it. I just bought a new 4kg (as my daughter took hers to college). The one I just received didn't have the plug installed flush. As a USATF official, I wouldn't have passed it so I had to cut/file the excess off. The plug also isn't solidly in place (moves in I push in on it). Needless to say, I don't have great confidence it it holding up. MF, please look into your manufacturing. These original shots were great and well worth the extra cost. The current ones, not so great. Thanks.

Possibly a shipping issue in reality
It may actually not have anything to do with ET&F but my 200.00 Javelin turned into 357.00 to get to my door. I am well aware it’s an odd shaped item but, 157.00 on top is an exorbitant amount to gouge someone.
