I’ve used EveryDollar for years and pay for Premium. Recently I’ve had problems with missing transactions and inaccurate historical data, and I cannot get any meaningful customer support.
I’ve submitted multiple support tickets and gotten nowhere. The bigger problem is that EveryDollar doesn’t allow transaction imports, so when something goes wrong with your data, there’s no way to fix it yourself.
I’ve spent weeks trying to sort this out and am now switching budgeting software entirely, even though I’d rather stay with EveryDollar.

Totally recommend it
Every dollar has improved my expense tracking so much, me and my wife had different checking accounts (now its just one) but the premium version is very helpful, you see all your movements and track into your budget immediatly, no, you won't achieve the same with the good old excel. In my case i'ts paying for itself cause its not even expensive (like $6 a month)

I subscribed to EveryDollar Premium Misleading Refund Policy & Zero Accountability…
I subscribed to EveryDollar Premium through the Apple App Store, under the belief that they offer a 30-day refund policy for first-month subscriptions, as stated on their website. However, after being charged immediately, I attempted to cancel and request a refund—only to be denied by both EveryDollar and Apple in a frustrating loop of zero accountability.
When I contacted EveryDollar Support, they told me that they have no control over refunds and that I had to request a refund from Apple instead. When I reached out to Apple, they refused to issue a refund, stating that EveryDollar is responsible for refund eligibility.
This means EveryDollar advertises a refund policy but does not actually honor it for Apple users. If you subscribe via the App Store, the 30-day refund guarantee is meaningless. Now, I’m stuck with a charge I didn’t expect, and neither company is willing to take responsibility.
Key issues:
Misleading refund policy – Their website says refunds are available, but they make it impossible for Apple subscribers to get one.
No accountability – EveryDollar blames Apple, and Apple blames EveryDollar.
Terrible customer service – I was given generic responses with no real attempt to resolve my issue.
If you’re considering trying EveryDollar through the App Store, DON’T. You will not get a refund if you decide it’s not right for you. This was a complete waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone until they fix their policies and actually take responsibility for their customers.

One major problem
For the most part, I really like the way this app works, when it works right. However, the premium feature (best part of the whole thing) which allows auto import of all your bank account transactions for very easy categorizing is very erratic. I've had frequent connectivity issues for two years (the entire time I've used this app and the premium paid service). Mine currently hasn't worked in 9 days. They say they're working on it, but I'm out of patience. I won't be renewing my premium subscription and suggest evaluating other tools instead. There are a ton out there.
If you want to manually type in every transaction then have at it.

Best website for budgeting
I've been using them for over a year now and honestly one of the best decisions I've made. I now feel a lot more secure when spending money. I just wish the mobile app worked for more than just America, would make it a lot easier than needing to do every purchase manually. The interface is also very smooth and I experience barely any lag with it.
