Dear Marcus, Thank you for taking the time to leave review. When the liquid in our disposable hookah pen is finished, the battery that creates the vapor still works and gives the pen that weird taste. Perhaps our rechargeable hookah is more your style! As soon as the liquid cartridge is done, you can just replace it with a new one. Kind regards, Lisa
