My complaint is actually with Poplar homes which Evernest bought out in Jan! But it's still the same people managing! I leased an apartment from PH and the Las Vegas manager was not honest with me from day one! My experience with them was poor at best! There was a dispute with them over the security deposit and ended up in small claims court. I won the judgement against them in May and was awarded a sum that has yet to be paid! This company has contempt for the law and the court! I wouldn't recommend them for anything!

Used them as a property manager for two years. Unresponsive, didnt do things they said they would, and their negligence led to us being sued in small claims court. The management company that doesn’t manage.

My breaker tripped in my hall bathroom. It had happened a few times before, and this time there was a burning smell, so I notified Evernest. They sent someone out to look at it (4 days later) who told me the light fixture wasn't properly sealed, which likely allowed moisture to occasionally get in and trip the breaker, but if the kids take shorter showers and keep the fan on it will help. I said ok. No work was completed. Then, a week later, I got stuck with a 10 day notice to pay for almost $300 even though no work was done. I emailed Evernest and they said the bill stands - because somehow a kid taking a hot shower is poor "behavior" for a tenant? Isn't taking hot showers normal "behavior" in a bathroom?

They are a terrible company and you will have hell to deal with. If you hear they are involved, run as fast as you can. They don't listen, they don't understand and they don't treat their customers or residents well. They are extremely heartless and absolute terrible individuals. One particular witch is Maria Servin. She is a snake of a lady and will hurt your family and is a cold and heartless B! I won't go into detail, but don't work with this company! Spread the word they are out for themselves and have no problem kicking out a family with 4 children! They don't deserve to be in business and hope they get shutdown!!! I also would have given 0 stars!!! Again stay away if you want to thrive in your home. They can't be trusted with your livelihood!!!

Left an urgent and serious leak ongoing for weeks. Poor communication. Shoddy work

We have been renters for years. Our last apartment complex sent us a thank you note for leaving the unit in perfect condition after living there for 3 years. So I am shocked when I move out of an Evernest property to an almost $1000 deduction from my security deposit for damages. I view the report and ask for the inspection reports. After sending us a copy, it is clear in the inspection reports that all the damage they are charging us for were present prior to our move in, according to their own inspections! We point this out and they state that after reviewing the evidence, the charges are still valid. I feel like I’m being pranked because how much more clear cut can it be when their own documents state the damages were there prior to our move in date?? We have escalated and are awaiting a response, but save yourself the trouble and AVOID Evernest at all costs. I don’t care if the property is nice or the price is the best in town. Do not rent from Evernest.

Absolutely terrible service. We documented with photos of all damage when we moved in… emailed to them everything. They’re now trying to charge us for the exact damages we documented as we move out.

We had a very bad experience with Evernest. They were asking for a fee just to tour a rental home in Dublin, CA. During the application process, they requested sensitive documents including bank statements, pay stubs, Social Security Number and a copy of our driver’s license. After we submitted those, they then asked us to upload a copy of our Social Security card. We weren’t comfortable sharing that, so instead, we provided a copy of our credit report. However, they rejected our application. So, be very cautious before dealing with this company. They collect all your sensitive documents under the pretense of showing a rental property.
