I would like to start saying that in my case is 0 stars for ETS. My exam was the 8th of December, after many many hours of study and paying a lot of money for a teacher. I did 4 practice test (paying each 45usd a lot of money) and with successful scores in all of them. The day of the exam,the Proctor from ProctorU started talking to me in the middle of the exam repeatedly so I was unable to hear the listening section - two voices at the same time - and my score in just that section was horrible. horrible enough to ruin my overall score. ETS told me that between 7 to 14 days I was going to receive a response for my complaint, which I submitted immediately. I received the response 45 days after and they are saying that they wont consider my case because I received the scores and I didn't reject ¿? Is this a joke? So how it works is that you pay 260usd + 180usd to do an exam with someone talking to you and you cant reschedule or receive a voucher because you require the score report (which is made by a computer with no cost) I dont know where to complain about this, so if someone can help me please let me know. I consider that ETS has taken a lot of advantages and this is a ridiculous business, I would like to call all universities to reconsider this exam requirement!

Crooks who just take advantage of their monopoly. A crazy price of $ 265 but that's not enough, ETS are the kings of hidden costs. If you want to reschedule, $ 60, if you want to cancel they will only refund half, you lose $ 132,5. If you want your copies $ 80 if you want a paper certificate $ 35. A money machine that makes it look like an organization, go your way and go to Cambridge.

I had a problem with my test, so I wrote to ETS addressing the incident. It took a full week for them to acknowledge that they received my email. Then it took another week for them to say that they were creating an incident report. I never heard back after that. I called ETS a month after taking the test because I still had not heard back from them. I waited on hold for 45 minutes until I finally got to speak to a representative who kept putting me back on hold because he did not know how to help me and had to ask his manager. At the end up of the call I was told that I would receive an email from them later that same day and they would push the incident report to top priority. I did not get the email later that day. When I finally did receive the email, it said that they could not issue me a retest nor a refund, citing inaccurate information. I then called ETS again to further address the issue. I immediately asked to speak to a manager because I knew the representative would be unable to help me. I was not transferred to a manager. Rather, I was put on hold for 10 minutes before the representative came back and told me that I would have to call back tomorrow to speak to the person who sent me the email. I never asked to speak to that person, so I asked again to speak to a manager. I was put on hold again and then told that I could not speak to manager. My issue still has not been resolved and I still have not been able to speak to someone who knows how to help me with it.

I wish I read some of this before I actually wasted my time and money on them. Just add me up to list of victims of this viscous business. So, with that being said, I won't waste more time on details of how terrible they were with me, not even as a customer to their business, but as a human being that should have been treated with some respect or common decency than what they did to me. I already wasted more than two months, more then couple of hundreds dollars, and more importantly my chance for a better career and life to try applying for a university that had them as one of the requirements of the application which of course I missed its deadlines just because of the incompetency of this ETS. This is why if there is anyone from ETS would like to respond to this complaint/review of mine here, I would be more than happy to provide my contact information, before I sue them in Small Claims Court. Please don't do my mistake and stay away from this ETS by any mean possible, even if you have to work as a janitor.

ETS is one of those companies that is unaffected by poor reviews. They don’t give good customer service or provide adequate support for those using their products because they don’t have to do so. Their handling of virtual testing during the pandemic, more specifically their outsourcing of testing to ProctorU, further illustrates their lack of concern with actually providing a valuable return for all the money young professionals put into their company. And should one have an issue with ETS, one should expect to rarely be able to get in touch with a live human being. Emails to them receive little more than automated replies. Calling them with a testing issue results in absurdly long wait times. Why should they care? They are the only game in town!

Shockingly bad. I would be extremely careful operating with this company. Especially, before you pay for anything. Their refund policy and customer aftercare service is beyond terrible. Terrible company. Products are way overpriced. Awful customer service.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and find a different company. This company takes half your fee in the event that you have to cancel your exam, despite test reqs. changing with CoVid. I scheduled an exam, then found out that the GRE requirement was waived for the semester of which I was applying. I needed to cancel the exam. I kept the books and study services I paid for and only wanted a refund for the exam. I notified them over two months in advance and they refused to refund the full fee. They kept over $100 for absolutely no services rendered. The schedules were very open so it wasn't like I had held a spot from anyone who may have needed to schedule. Use a different company who has adapted their policies to reflect the circumstances we are all in.

I am sorry, but I have been seriously tested for COVID last month and had a sick leave and was not able to get any refund for my not completed test I could not attend due to this. I have provided them with proves of my tests and Hospital Sick Leave form, but was not good enough to them. There was no understanding to the fact, that hospitals on Friday in Saudi Arabia do not provide detailed report on Emergency Unit and also, that there is nothing like General doctor in this country. Also, COVID tests go through Apps and App result is the only way of proving that you went for test and its result. No compassion or understanding. I get it ppl fake their medical leaves to not got for test, but if I already provided what I could, they act like they do not have enough money to just postpone it for me or to refund it on the credit, so I can use this money again for few weeks later, once I am well again. The lack of care from this organization led me to do the test with IELTS, coz their approach was better.
