I can't even edit the Engine.ini file. They have some weird "configuration editor" that takes the place of a normal text editor. So you're locked into whatever settings they feel like you having. When I went to contact customer service they basically blew me off and didn't address any of the issues I was bringing to them. I'd write 5 or 6 paragraphs of well thought out questions and get a flippant one or two sentences back that wouldn't resolve anything. I would not recommend Eternal Hosting to anyone. Find someone else. Update: Since the beginning of November the site stopped responding to tickets. I submitted a cancellation ticket on the 10th of Nov and have heard nothing over the past two weeks.

Left an email that has yet to be replied. Edit: The support tickets have indeed been filed. Submitted a new one with that same query and it’s definitely not been answered in one hour. The prior is going on well over 72 hours. The original ticket number was 888054. The newest one is 720334.

So the server and support quily is awesome. But when I canceled the server 6-7 months ago I am still getting bills to this day.

The experience is just getting worse... the cancelled service (that I cancelled on the second day because it never worked in the first place), is still trying to invoice me for my money. For an entire week I have been posting support tickets for these people to cancel my account but no response. I had to move ALL my money from my account to another just to prevent them from automatic withdrawal. This is one of the most despicable companies I have ever worked with. If you have any sense in you DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

do not use this hosting company they lost my server and when i put in a ticket it seemed they were just trying to buy time. they even asked me for the server ip and port which they should have had access to i had to use a third party site to find that information because my server didn't exist anymore. once i gave them that they said they sent out emails about upgrading that server witch i did not get(but i can get ad emails from them about the new games they are hosting) and the also said they were pulling my server info 6 day go by with no server and no response to my replies to the ticket. make a new ticket to cancel my services and ask for a refund wouldn't even refund me for the month that i did not even get play because the server just vanished. so just spend a couple extra bucks and use a different hosting service

The server was not automatically set up. I submitted a ticket and received a response after an hour asking if I got an E-mail about access to the control panel. I replied that I had not, after 17+ hours, the server is still not set up, and no response has been received from customer service beyond the one line response I will be attempting to get my money back, avoid this company like the plague.

After 5 days of having to nag them for updates on what was wrong with my server, i canceled my account. At times I was told they "had an overheat", "It's back up" when it clearly wasn't. "It will be back in an hour", which it wasn't.", "It's rebooting now", nope. They clearly don't have 24/7/365 support they claim to have. Most importantly, they don't back up their servers. Despite pleading with them for any additional information, their responses were limited to one or two sentences that felt like they were buying time. They DID offer me a free month of service, but that doesn't even put a dent in the profound disappointment of losing everything my son and I built with our friends over the course of 6 months. I work in IT. I understand problems arise. I'm willing to overlook some downtime here and there. But total loss of all data AND reluctant communication with the customer is unacceptable, even when you're dealing with "just a game". If you're a potential customer, a current customer, an investor, or just a player looking for a server run, don't walk, to another hosting company.

I've had an Ark server with them for 2 days now, around 50 hours or so. The first day it ran fine, but at the 26 hour mark it went down, and has been down since. Sent a ticket to customer service when it went down at 10:17 pm est last night, it is currently 8:33 pm tonight (over 22 hours later) and yet still not a word from them. I moved all of my dinosaurs and items over and it's looking like the server isn't coming up anytime soon with this neglectful customer service. If there is a problem with one of their servers or a mistake on my end it would be nice to know, as long as someone would get a hold of me and let me know what's going on.
