Attrocious to say the least
My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare. It's worse than a scam, they quasi deliver the worst quality work you can imagine and say over and over again that they will make it better to your expectations, and drag the whole torturous experience out. I'll give specifics. A few years ago I decided to write my first novel, and had absolutely no idea where to begin or how to do it. I found this "all-in-one" service and thought I'd give it a try. I started with one of their ghostwriters and quickly realized that the writing was either absurdly awful, or simply had nothing to do with the story I was trying to tell, as in wrong character names, nothing aligned with my plot outline- literally not my story, they were just making stuff up. So I stopped that, I told them I would write the full thing myself, and I did, and I'm proud of that. But I had still paid them a bunch of money, so I thought, well at least they can help with the marketing. Nope. The "social media" posts were not only the wrong genre, wrong names, wrong characters, but they were poorly made static images- nothing special. Trying to have them do the book cover design was painful, absolutely painful. I've hired a real designer from an actual platform. Their "designers" could not follow directions whatsoever. I have some hilariously frustrating images they've made where the male's leg is blurred or his face is turned around weird- bizarre stuff. I would send videos talking through it, screenshots with annotations, bullet points written out - no form of feedback was effective at getting any sort of good result. I asked for my money back on several of these occasions, only to always be told that they could fix it and make it better. They never made it better. So I figured if I was stuck with them keeping my thousands of dollars, at least they should be able to help me with the print distribution package I had bought, even if I ended up doing everything else 100% on my own, maybe they could at least do that because, like a fool, I had pre-paid for them to print my books. Remember how I said I didn't know anything about this process at the beginning? Yeah, I know better now. So I spoke with their direct book printing and distribution person, they said they didn't have my agreement on file and asked me to email it to them. I emailed it over, it plainly states that I pre-paid for the printed books. Their response was "Yes dear i have seen the service agreement but you paid the amount to your ghostwriting company so please contact to them and ask for the printed copies." But this is their person...? So I'm confused and upset. I've reached out to them several times via email and the project portal and text to get the support I paid for or a refund of any sort, but to no avail. And each time I speak with them on the phone, they pitch me some other service that I need to buy, which I absolutely do not. Like their AI protection service. I told them to stop trying to sell me things, considering they have not delivered on a single service I had already paid for. Anyway, it may be too late for me, but I hope this honest review can help someone else avoid making this dumb decision.
