Eric Heerspink CeramicsEric is a ceramic artist living and working from his studio located in Jenison, Michigan. In his functional ceramic work, Eric addresses the Star Wars monoculture through the use of forms, shapes, patterns, and colors that reference the familiar aesthetic of Star Wars and its subsequent sequels. His work is made using various ceramic techniques, such as wheel throwing and slip casting. Each piece is hand decorated with slips and glazes. Through this process, pieces are created that are uniquely one of a kind. Each piece is fired in an electric kiln to 2150 degrees Fahrenheit. Every piece is designed to be used and enjoyed. To this end, all the work is food safe. Bring a little piece of a Galaxy Far Far Away into your everyday with an Eric Heerspink original piece.

every piece I’ve purchased is well made and is so beautiful in person. I use all my cups and bowls daily; they all upkeep super well. I did drop a bowl in the sink (all my fault) and the bowl is so sturdy it only took a chip off the top. The bowl is still usable and my favorite. Always looking forward to the next character releases!

Eric makes incredible mugs & steins! Pure artwork! Lots of effort (and love) goes into making sure each and every item is treated as the most important! I have collected over 57 mugs... so far! I would highly recommend his "art" to everyone.

The quality and artistry of each piece is positively incredible. Each item is packed with extreme care and adds to the excitement of the unboxing. Honestly, I love these mugs way more than I probably should. But that’s because it really is more than a “mug” - each one is a piece of art, made with care!
