The in-class instruction was very effective at teaching me how to administer CPR and how to use an AED with people of all ages. The instructor provided ample opportunity for hands-on practice and gave good feedback. I believe everyone left there feeling confident in their new-found skills. However, I was hoping for more in depth coverage of first aid, including hands-on practice in applying bandages, splints, etc. One caveat: myself and another student received reminder e-mails the day before that lead us to believe we had to take and pass an on-line course before taking part in the classroom session. We both spent several hours completing the course, which meant that most of the classroom instruction, apart from the hands-on training, was redundant of what we learned on-line. Having said that, the on-line course was one of the better on-line trainings I've experienced.

Easy to do online portion Of first aid class. Quick and easy skills session took 10 minutes. Had a difficult time finding who to contact to get my card.

The course was good and the instructor knowledgeable. It was my first CPR/Pediatric course so I thought the course was run through pretty fast. Luckily I had taken the American Heart Associations on line course in advance.

This was an excellent class that prepares you for health hazards that are commonly encountered. The instructor was clear, addressed questions, and was very informative. I would suggest adding a little more time so there is more of an opportunity for discussion and questions.
