Disappointed with the Commander and the lack of transparency
I purchased the Commander specifically to use the Continuous Autopilot feature. This is an expensive device, and that feature was one of the main reasons I decided to buy it. Before purchasing, the Enhance Auto website listed Continuous Autopilot as a supported feature. There was no clear warning on the product page that this feature is not compatible with my Tesla model. After receiving the Commander, I went through the installation process, which involves a significant amount of work to install the device in the car. Only after everything was installed did the app inform me that Continuous Autopilot is not supported on my particular vehicle. Had this limitation been clearly stated on the website before purchase, I simply would not have bought the Commander. I contacted Enhance Auto to return the product because it does not provide a feature that was advertised as supported on their website. Unfortunately, I was charged €24.20 for the return. What disappoints me most is not simply the compatibility issue, but the fact that the website does not clearly communicate this limitation before purchase, and that the company does not appear to take responsibility for the consequences of that inaccurate/incomplete product information. I’m writing this review mainly to warn other Tesla owners to check very carefully whether Continuous Autopilot actually works with their specific vehicle before buying the Commander, rather than relying on the information displayed on the product page. For such an expensive product, I expected much clearer compatibility information and better customer support when a feature advertised on the website turns out not to work with the customer’s car. What makes this particularly frustrating is that Enhance Auto’s own documentation explicitly states that Continuous Autopilot works on all Tesla models equipped with the Commander. There is no clear warning on the product page that this feature may be unavailable on my particular vehicle. I only discovered the incompatibility after purchasing and installing the device, when the S3XY App warned me that the feature was not supported.

We’ve reviewed your case carefully. Continuous Autopilot is a supported feature on compatible Model 3/Y vehicles, and we did not establish during your case that the feature itself was incompatible with your vehicle before the return was requested. We nevertheless accepted the return, provided the return shipping option, and issued the refund once the unit was received. We also take your comments about how compatibility information is presented seriously and will continue working to make this as clear as possible for customers before purchase. - Enhance Customer Experience
