I placed a pre order or their new teaching Turbo fan engine on the 13th of July. offering resale prices and free shipping. I waited long time promised delivered by September.. last email I sent them asking for the product they promise to ship right away payment 539.99 usd. with a rebook of 97.65 usd... now after 3 months with my money fully paid.. they come with the request of 100 usd for shipping... after it was stated it was free shipping with the pre sale.. they said they will refound the money if not agree with the estra charge.. The company kept my 600+ usd in their pockets quietly until ask by me and now they want 100 extra because of logistics... that's a shame...

Oh dear - I have been scammed. Ordered and paid NZ$65 for aV* engine and have received a cheap ring. No response from my email yet....

Received TINY engine (listed at $99) but with broken parts. Was charge a $5 "Shipping Protection". Contacted customer service through the enginediy.com website over a week ago. I requested replacement parts or a refund. Nothing. No response. What a waste of money for a 15 year old grandson. And what did I buy with the $5 "shipping Protection"? Apparently NOTHING. 8/12/2023 received a reply from Enginediy.com that goes on about a ghost website. However, I did send my request for help to them through Enginediy.com. Only after this negative review was posted did I get an offer from Enginediy.com to replace the broken parts.

Appalling company, my husband ordered two engine kits to the value of £56, we received a cheap looking ring. We contacted customer services to explain wrong product had been sent, they responded with offering us to keep item and only refund us 15%, after 3 emails they have now said 30% refund. I'm trying to explain I don't want what they have sent and want to return for full refund or will send it back when they send correct item, their response is that they no longer have any of the engines and as a small company they can't afford to refund us the money and accept back the crap they sent us. Scammers. Do not buy

Engine DIY is another clone website of Extremelife (also known as Enginemaker), which is a well-known scam. See their reviews on Trustpilot. The support team of Engine DIY uses the same emails as Extremelife, and their shipping tracking link will take you directly to Enginemaker. They might be currently rebuilding their reputatoin by sending real goods, however, occassionally they might try to boost profits by sending cheap products instead of the expensive product you ordered. Then, if you contact them, they will claim that your package has been delivered (which is true, only it wasn't what you expected). Beware and do not buy from them if you don't want to risk your money. UPDATE in response to the company's reply below - I have definite proofs that I'm ready to share, according to which Engine DIY is operated by the same owners of the well known scammer Extremelife. Do not risk your money.

A review under my name was posted for something I did not ordered or reviewed !!!! HOW TO TRUST YOUR SITE IF YOU PUBLISH FAKE REVIEWS !!! VERY DISAPPOINTED ND UNHAPPY

Kit arrived damaged, no responses from their contact emails, paid an additional $10 for shipping insurance on a kit total of $185.00. Had to escalate via pay-pal and enginediy offered a $10 refund! Now they want the kit returned at my expense to China, evenm though there was insurance purchased seperately. I will never buy from them again, there is zero customer support.

Depuis début décembre 2022, j'ai besoin de pièces pour mon moteur Toyan Engine FS-V800W. J'ai écrit plusieurs mails et toujours pas d'envoi. Le SAV me promets de m'envoyer ces pièces mais rien n'arrive. Ce SAV est vraiment Nul. Je suis très déçu et j'ai peu d'espoir de recevoir mes pièces. Ce moteur servira de presse papier sur mon bureau !!
