The new endnote has horrible integration. I took me hours to be able to join a shared library. They just keep making you buy new licenses that you don't need. The user interface is worse than the classic.

Update: Ich habe eine Antwort vom Kundenservice erhalten und mir wurde versprochen, dass ich nicht noch einmal nach Geld gefragt werde, das ich nicht schulde. Das ist das Positive. Ansonsten bin ich mit dieser Geschäftspraxis immer noch nicht einverstanden. Ich hatte eine 21-tägige kostenlose Testversion, die ich nach weniger als einer Stunde gekündigt habe, weil ich festgestellt habe, dass sie für mich ungeeignet ist. Jetzt habe ich eine Zahlungsaufforderung über 310 € erhalten. Ich habe ihnen einen Screenshot geschickt, der beweist, dass mein Konto so eingestellt ist, dass es nicht automatisch verlängert/aktualisiert wird, aber meine E-Mail ist nicht durchgekommen. Ich halte das für einen Betrug und habe es meiner örtlichen Verbraucherschutzbehörde gemeldet.

The management of libraries is very confusing. THe elimination of duplicates also leads to missing references and is very cumbersome.

New release (EndNote 21.0.1) has obvious bug in author lists, listing an extra author in several styles I use. Used to work fine, now broken. A fix is supposedly in the works, but we're almost 3 months past release. A failure of your QC process.

I still have yet to be able to transfer my EndNote6 library to EndNote20. The instructions provided on the website are unclear and insufficient. I'm frustrated that I will likely have to call customer service and speak to a technician on what was touted to be a seamless transfer process.

I purchased EndNote20 on Feb 13, 2023, and approximately a week or two later, you sent me a message noting the new version (EndNote21) was being released; and that I should purchase it (preorder). Not cool. I should have been grandfathered into the new one since it was only a week later. To that end, I have chosen not to use the product; it just sits on my computer. I wish I could give a good review and possible constructive criticism of the product but... Disgruntled customer.

Word locks up if you try to rearrange paragraphs that contain a quote and instant formatting is on. It does not find articles as it is advertised--iIt gets me to my university, then flips out. The program opens on its own, even when Word is not running. Too many bugs!
