You can't get 5 out of 5 from me (unless you can persuade Netflix or the BBC iPlayer to recognise that my connection to their site is from a UK address somehow.) With that limitation, Encrypt.me seems to be as effective and straightforward as an iOS VPN can be.

John, thank you for your feedback. We're continuing to work on BBC & Netflix accessibility.

Pleased except for 2 things: 1) VPN drops occasionally for no obvious reason, 2) it does not re-connect but sits there trying to do so but never timing out. This is problematic if you think you have a VPN but don’t.

This definitely does not sound ideal. Would you be able to contact our support team next time your connection drops?

Easy to use and reliable. The automatic connection on untrusted networks is extremely convenient, and the Transporter occasionally comes in handy. Only downside is it occasionally incorrectly turns itself on on a trusted network on macOS; fortunately never seen it happen on other devices.

Daniel, thank you for reporting this to us. We'll try to replicate the issue on our internal machines, however if you run across the issue again where the Encrypt.me activates on a trusted network, could you contact our support team?

Excellent and simple interface. Sometimes in unlogs but that’s not much of an issue. Definitely recommend this product.

Thank you for your kind words, Michael. If you run into the issue where our application disconnects, could you contact our support team so we can look into things?

I really like it, but as a health care provider more information about its security with respect to HIPAA would have gotten you another star!

John, thank you for your kind words. This is something we have hopes of improving. Stay tuned :)

I can only rate your web interface as I cannot judge how well you safeguard my data; I just have to rely on other reviews. Your site is pretty easy to access and use. I would have like a separate button or tab to let me upgrade from mini to regular monthly subscription. i bounced around looking for "Upgrade" thinking that selecting monthly subscription the site would think I was a new enrollee.

We'll soon be releasing the results of a 3rd party security audit. Stay tuned - release should come at the end of September.

Helpful security measure when using public WiFi hotspots as well as getting around geo constraints when traveling allowing me to visit sites that would normally be blocked from outside regions.

There is always room for improvement.
