Don’t know if the experimental mode has changed much overtime but during my recent trip overseas and accessing a plethora of public wifi, I did find the experimental mode helped greatly in establishing connections. What would now be wonderful and possibly the next logical step of for the entire process to be automated and seamless.

Works automatically. Other than price, am very happy

So far so good. I have only subscribed for a month with limited need to use Encript.me. Therefore unable to give you a review at this time. I do expect that in time there should be 5 stars. This is really an insurance policy. Thank you.

I like your products but I wish they would let me opt to have them always be active. On my Mac & PC I have to start the Encrypt.Me app to get VPN protection.

my only problem is occasional conflicts between encrypt.me and some networks where I have to turn off encrypt.me

Encrypt.me accurately recognizes whether I am on a trusted network or not and usually activates without difficulty. Occasionally it hangs up connecting with its server necessitating that I sign out and sign in again, a process that is usually frustrating and, as it only occurs on an untrusted network, exposes me to hacking risk. It frequently stymies network connection at hotels or other public WiFi networks that require signing into a log in page (e.g., with name and hotel room number). In that case I have to disable Encrypt.me, log into the network, and then re-enable Encrypt.me. In totally open public networks, the connection is seamless and I do not notice any download / upload speed degradation. I am comfortable using Encrypt.me, but it occasionally frustrates.

Thank you for the very kind review. The captive portals at hotels, and airports are very frustrating. We have a solution being developed to alleviate some of the pain there that should be released soon.

sometimes slow linking, or difficult to link, with open WiFi networks in commercial locations. Am never certain if that's an issue with the specific WiFi network or Encrypt.me. Once connection is made, it's terrific.

With the recent improvements, Encrypt.me is better than ever. I still have occasional networks that the current version cannot secure. Other than that, speed is very good connecting through a U.S. portal, which is crucial for financial websites and streaming. Of note, iOS 13 is not displaying the VPN icon and I have to constantly keep the Encrypt.me app available to check encryption. I can't find a fix and it's a PITA!!!
