My daughter's counselor, Charmaine, is excellent. She provides valuable information and strategy ideas, along with strong essay support. Minus one star because some of the research queries (which are not handled by Charmaine) have seemed half-hearted at best, some with outdated, irrelevant answers. I suspect AI might have been used, to poor outcome.

Empowerly program is very comprehensive , they have different features/services that one can use. Also they are customer focused, they response quickly to questions/issues etc. Their counselors are well experienced and dedicated .

I love how he is very engaged in my success and what I should do to get into the right schools. He answers all my questions and it makes me comfortable to know that I have a good person helping me with my future.

cannot recommend my college counselor Shahrukh highly enough! From day one, he has been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my success. He took the time to understand my goals, strengths, and concerns, helping me navigate every step of the college application process with confidence. His personalized advice on selecting schools and writing essays made a huge difference. What stood out the most was his patience and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure I felt prepared and informed. Thanks to his guidance, I feel much more confident in my applications. Overall, he is a very empathetic counselor!

I had Elizabeth Venturini as my advisor, and she did a great job at being a source of guidance and helping me develop my professional skills, which were probably my overall weakest aspect. She's also just very funny and caring, which is are both highly appreciated for someone in her position. I would highly recommend working with her.

My experience with Empowerly was great! They have a lot of helpful resources such as a bank of sample college essays for different colleges. They also have an amazing research team that is able to answer almost any question you have! For example, they can compile a list of scholarships or internships for you personally. My counselor, Yiyi Zhao, was hardworking and was able to go through essays for more than 17 colleges with me!

Empowerly has been a huge help in my college admissions process. From helping me find meaningful and relevant internships to curating a college list that perfectly fits my statistics, from helping me pick classes and extracurriculars that make a positive impact on my transcript to helping me get into competitive summer programs, Empowerly has really elevated me to a level of academic and extracurricular rigor that I feel confident about and would not have reached without their help. The only negative comment I would have would be about their essay services. The editing process often turned by essays from authentic to scripted and unnatural, and I had to go back and edit them on my own after because I didn't like how they sounded, and was sure that the summer programs I was applying to would think the same.
