We arrived in the US 3 years back with little to no idea about the path to college for our student. Given her different background, we needed counselors who could approach our case with a deeper understanding. Our initial experiences left us frustrated.  Then we got Ronnie as our counselor. And over these 3 years, we have always felt thankful. Ronnie saw what our student brought beyond the academic scores, understood her deeper interests and abilities as well as her shortcomings, and charted a simple, progressive, and highly intentional course for her college application journey. Be it the guidance on course selection choices, applying for Research programs, deciding best-suited volunteering opportunities, the college application choices and the development of the personal statement and responses to the UC questionnaires,  you always gave your best and brought out the best in our student and built a great trust dynamic.  Tanvee's success with a majority of her early decision applications and some more later with the UC applications really put her in a very good position with some great colleges to choose from. We are very thankful for that.

I've been working with Mr. Malik as my counselor for about 7 months, and he's been incredibly helpful in every situation. My counselor Yiyi has been amazing to work with these past 6 months and I can't wait to continue working with her for the next year. Since the beginning, she has been thoroughly invested in my success and has been of great help. Yiyi has allowed me to find impactful extracurriculars that tie into my interests and career path and she has taken my application to the next level.
