Empowerly has been a great resource towards getting ready for the college applications. Our counselor Shahrukh’s guidance for course rigor and extracurriculars has been invaluable. Empowerly’s essay edits and application review features are proving to be very helpful.

It was very hard to navigate our path for college preparation and once we started working with our counselor Stephanie Leveron she gave us guidance and helped us navigate through the process. This company is helping me in choosing the right extracurriculars, choosing schools, SAT preparation, clubs, and she is providing us with information on things we didn’t know about.

Exactly what we needed So much has changed with the college application process since many parents last applied. The common application makes it easy to apply to many schools. Above and beyond that, the number of supplemental essays is staggering. Having to incessantly remind your child about deadlines and essay writing/reviewing can really make for a challenging home environment. To make it easier on ourselves, we enlisted the help of Empowerly. Megan W. has been fantastic with guiding our son through this process. He values her opinion, listens to her suggestions and most importantly follows her deadlines. He has good executive functioning skills. Megan breaks down the application/essays into smaller "bites" which makes it easier for him to figure out how to fit everything into his schedule.

Megan has been encouraging and honest with our rising Senior. She has been flexible and available for our questions and we appreciate her expertise during this murky times of college admissions process.
